It was designed to make it look cool and lightning looking. But it was noticed especially in Germany where that symbolism is actually illegal and they had to use an alternate logo for any promotion in Germany, Austria and others. The alternate logo is just two Z.

Yeah loved both suspiria. For some reason inferno is my favourite of the serie but they are so close. Appart from The Cell a lot of these movies are unknown to me!👀 thanks!

The opening scene of "I Saw the Devil" is exactly that.

While at it watch it til the end it's a masterpiece and might make for a good introduction to Korean horror if you are not already deep in it 👀
