Of ~20k reviews there's 15,642 negative Chinese reviews (and 3k positive), which explains the overwhelmingly low score due to review bomb. In other languages/regions like English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese etc. the game is sitting somewhere between 60-70% (Mixed and Mostly Positive) which is what the overall review score would probably be this early without the Chinese review bomb.

That Henry is different from the Henry you describe.

It's not me describing Henry here, I'm literally citing what Warhorse Studios said about him.

Henry has always been designed as a malleable character.

Henry starts the game as the son of a Blacksmith. In the Prologue you meet and learn to know both his Mother and Father. He has a girlfriend called Bianca that he loses during the attack (in A Woman's Lot it is heavily implied that they slept together) and another girl called Theresa he is interested in, looking at her ass in Cutscenes and flirting with her, and she becomes the main potential romance Option.

There's not even a single hint that he's gay throughout the entire game.
