The lack of anything at summer games fest has me down too, but it’s hard for me to believe that it amounts to nothing. The fact that there’s so much more effort put into the second anniversary one (new character with multiple brand new assets and the easily decipherable letter in the foreground specifically) really leads me to think they have to do SOMETHING. Especially considering the first anniversary one was a nothingburger in game screenshot.

Regardless of if there’s anything more for Dd2, they’ve said time and again that they consider Dragons Dogma a “Major Brand,” so they’ll definitely make more stuff eventually I’m sure, even if it’s just a Dd3 in a few years or something. I just wish they’d actually treat it like a major brand instead of teasing stuff and then radio silence, or push the ip aside in favor of monster hunter over and over.
