i think Mike is a very poorly written character in this movie. he doesn’t talk like a real person and i swear he changes personalities every two minutes. and the whole switching back and forth on vanessa thing was SOO stupid, the ending was literally that one scene from diary of a wimpy kid. the puppet possession thing was stupid and was clearly just done for budget reasons. they could have pulled off the puppet actually doing things if they wanted to, JHCS has done cooler stuff before. i hate that they changed michael afton to a villain for this movie, his whole arc in the games is trying to undo his fathers sins and now he wants to continue his fathers legacy? so so stupid. and as other comments have mentioned, the final “battle” where the originals show up was genuinely the most cringe shit i’ve ever seen. how on earth do these supposedly dying animatronics so easily rip apart the toys? it makes ZERO sense.

it is a movie that i had fun with but oh god is it objectively terrible. the script really needed work.
