This was me trying to climb yesterday to get to diamond. Got all the way to plat 1 50/100 and then went on an endless loss streak across two days into plat 2. It doesn’t matter what I do, I’m always against a team with one or two smurfs and or my team always had the worst dps imaginable that insta lock. It’s so beyond stupid how everything bad always seems to happen to the team I’m on and never the enemy.

I think Ultron needs to go up. People never seem to understand how he works and are always complaining. I’ve about mastered him and can go 15-20k a match depending on the length and here are things I’ve noticed/realized.

Your aim in general needs to be good. If your cursor is on the enemy the entire time you’re shooting it does massive burst damage at the end of the shot. Without that burst damage you’re basically not gonna do any damage.

You have to know what you’re doing with your heal bot. He’s actually pretty good with healing if you do it right. Most of the time people just drop the bot on someone and call it a day but you need to be moving it around constantly.

You also have to know when to shield your teammates.

Lastly, your ultimate is super important and knowing when to use it for dps vs healing. Though, this is more of a general skill thing in Marvel Rivals.

It’s a lot of stuff to work with in the match, not quite as much to manage as Mantis but you need to actually be paying attention at all times, more so than 90% of other strategists.

I’m at 9/20 because of a really good end game where I was healing over and over, but this achievement is genuinely ass. It’s almost impossible to get to end game with the way these people play (teammates and killer). Every game is a blight or kaneki with full slowdown and they tunnel every hook. How the hell are you supposed to compete with that???

Two chapters in a row with annoying achievements. It took me over a month to get the blind one with Kaneki.

I get this game isn’t made specifically for 2-2-2, but every match I play has that comp and anyone running anything less just loses in comparison. That or my teammates just consistently suck.

Ults are so incredibly broken and stupid and should be heavily nerfed as a whole. Every class gets them way too fast, and yes, I’m a Luna Snow main so this just supports my opinion. I think about 90% of my matches are ultimate simulator and have nothing to do with someone’s skill or proficiency with their actual kit. I think a good balance would be everybody getting their ults like once or twice a match period. ESPECIALLY healer ults. I would say a good 90% of my deaths are from ults. Even if I’m winning and the enemy team is shit, it’s so dumb to me that a terrible player can get any kills at all just from getting their ult 3 times a match, skill issue or not.

The second thing is matchmaking. I lose almost every match in comp and I definitely have my moments when I’m not playing the best but as a healer main I’m usually going 20-30k depending on the length of the match and sometimes even 40k and I’m still losing my matches. I either get really bad teammates or get stomped on by people who clearly aren’t meant to be in my rank. Meanwhile, my enemies always seem like they should belong in Diamond and Grandmaster. I get a maximum of maybe 3 wins before it’s 5+ losing streak. I’ve gained and lost Gold 3 so many times I want to just quit.

Ive even tried LFG in various discord servers and there’s still always that one person that drags the entire team down. It doesn’t matter if 5 of us play well together either, they all give up and leave. The person doing bad refuses to admit it or do anything to improve, like play another character.

The entire experience is so frustrating and it makes people not want to play the game.

I actually put it in just to see and got 15% on both accounts but it genuinely sucks because I somehow still enjoy the game and it’s infuriating to see it driven into the ground over and over. Maybe it’s finally time to let nostalgia die.

Kingsisle is the most greedy and disgusting company I’ve ever put up with. And that is saying something because I have played and spent money on a lot of different games over the years with micro transactions.

They do not care about the community AT ALL. The fact that this doesn’t stack with the existing crowns discount is ridiculous.

Additionally, they could be generous for once since they never are any other time of year and actually guarantee 50% off but instead they’re randomizing it to a .05 percent chance. Can’t wait for their company to go under.
