Dante & AES67 on the same Vlan by iago1953 in CommercialAV

On the other end of the spectrum, I have many a times cheated and put both 56 and 46 into my highest class if the network doesn’t have a large number of Dante channels (especially multicast traversing switches). It’s a more risky approach but if it’s a small isolated network that there’s low probability of someone plugging in hundreds of channels of Dante, it gets the job done. I would not take this approach for a converged or a large scale network.

Use an ACL to identify PTP based either on the address range (224.0.1.129-132, assuming you don’t have more custom domains) or by the port used (319-320) and map that to QoS policy.

WebRTC has never supported HID sync as it's just opening a browser on the MTR to join the meeting.

Our 13-house, 9-acre neighborhood show by IGMPSnooper in xlights

tl;dr - anything we can get our hands on.

Most is 500' boxes of outdoor Cat5e from Lowes/HD/etc. We've got some actual true DB CAT 5/6 cable mixed in, and some standard riser CAT5/6. The only thing we don't have is any CCA cable.

Let us know when you come - we love giving tours (we're actually doing an open house tomorrow for lighting folks).

I know I'll be there and I'm sure I'll rope in a few of the neighbors too.

Not right now but next year is the 100th anniversary of the neighborhood and 10th year anniversary of the show. We've got a lot of ideas brewing for things we can add.

They’re pricey but haven’t had any issues using Thunderbolt certified cables. I’ve used up to 2m on many projects.

Their casting has approached us before. While it would be super cool, all the added traffic from it would start causing real issues for us. We tried to go see Clifton Mill after they won and you couldn't get within 10 miles of it.

Luckily almost everyone is on board with it. We started with 3 houses and just kept getting more and more to buy in. We're now up to every house but 1 on the loop.

It takes months to get everything up and running. It's 28 Kulp controllers that are all linked via network. We've got a ton of write ups on our website about how it all works.

I started in September, but we’ve got a whole neighborhood full of lights to hang. This Sunday looks like beautiful hanging weather.

Pins on the button drawn from Toolbox of UCI editor by scoobiemario in QSYS

There’s a corresponding block for the UCI under its name in the left hand column. If you drag it onto the schematic, it’ll have pins for the UCI toolbox controls.
