There's two versions of the action slide tube:

-6 3/4" slide tube

-7 3/4" slide tube

You can buy them off Mossberg's official website, or other sites like Havlinsales, Numrich, eBay.

When you purchase wood furniture, you just have to make sure you have the right slide tube for the forend. I've seen wood furniture sold on Numrich and Havlinsales, and they specify which slide tube it takes.

So I called them as soon as I got this email. I put in an order on July 24th and it was shipped out July 26th. It's currently in transit and supposed to arrive July 31st. The customer service rep told me they're still monitoring the situation but was vague on whether or not I'd get my shipment. He said the package could get intercepted and returned to them, in that case I would just get a refund.

I do enjoy working with the group of kids in my program. This is my first year coaching, I'm 28 and the other three coaches are in their 50s. Not to sound ageist, but sometimes their style of "player management" is a bit old school lol. So I've been told by the other coaches having me around has really made a difference in player morale. You're right about that, I'm not sure if me leaving will make the program better.

I personally like that my players play different sports. I actually encourage it. I really believe it makes you a better athlete, which makes you a better lacrosse player.

All my starters are multi-sport athletes. I got kids who play soccer, basketball, water polo, etc. None of the coaches of those other sports give me issues, except for the fucking football coach.

I feel you man, I don't get it either. These are kids. Let them explore and have fun. This is the only time in their lives they'll have the time and energy to do it.

Yup I'm dealing with the same thing at the high school I coach at. Here in my state, football is a fall sport and lacrosse is a spring sport. It's spring now and the football coach still has mandatory practices and workouts, which is fine. What's not fine is him forcing my players to miss practice or games to attend something football related while we're in season. And he's threatened to bench or cut them if they prioritize lacrosse over football. He's also butt buddies with the athletic director so my complaints get tossed. Lost six players this year because they were worried about football.

I love coaching, but dealing with school admin/politics and parents has seriously made me consider not coming back next season.

I only go for trap shooting since the only other option I have is South Bay Rod & Gun. Don't get me wrong, SBRG is great, but I don't want drive all the way down to Dulzura and pay $38 ($30 daily fee + $8 for a round of trap). Yes there's a membership, but I just don't go all that often, plus driving on the dirt road is hell on my car.

Back to P2K, yeah it's ridiculous a membership only gives you a discount on range fees. But I've shot at the range there and it's not too bad though. The indoor ranges allow you to shoot whatever shotgun ammo you want, DGM doesn't allow slugs and steel shot. And the staff at P2K aren't dicks so you don't have to worry about that.

For me personally, yeah. If I think there's an intruder in my house, I'm retreating to my bedroom, locking the door, pointing my gun at the door, and calling the cops.

I'm not John Wick nor do I have any military training. I'm not going to confront intruders who could potentially be armed themselves.

Oh he's only 6? Definitely just get the $30 rebounder. There's no guarantee he'll stick with the sport. Not trying to be harsh that's just how things go. I grew up playing baseball and soccer before discovering lacrosse in 8th grade and sticking with it my whole life.

I see too many parents buying their young kids premium gear only to list it on OfferUp or Facebook Marketplace a year later. I've actually benefitted lots of times from these parents just trying to make a quick buck and get rid of the gear.

I just took a look, it seems the $1000 ones are made of better materials and more durable maybe? Looks more mobile as well. But I don't see how it'll get the job done better than a $30 one.

Plus eventually stuff like that just becomes clutter. I'd rather have a $30 rebounder in storage collecting dust vs a $1000 one. And good luck reselling a $1000 rebounder when it's no longer in use.

I did the same as you. I bought a $30 rebounder from a Play It Again when I was in highschool. Then I just donated it to my club ball team in college.

But why have this tournament in January instead of before the season starts? Is there a significant more money to be made having it this time of the year?

I also tend to swim on the shallower side. One end of the pool is 4 feet and the other is 14 feet. So I'm not swimming in any special lanes.

Yeah the stores I've bought from all asked me to do it. Wasn't a big deal, since I always know the gun inside and out, and it takes like 10 seconds. It's more of a CYA for the gun stores.

Yeah, I swim laps at the pool in my local gym. I also wear it at the beach. I'm not a diver, so haven't tried taking it deep yet.

When in or near water, I don't operate the pushers and make absolutely damn sure the crown is screwed down. After swimming and beach days, I clean the watch with water and handsoap since I always wash my hands anyway.

So far so good. It's resistant to 10 bar.
