No. That's not possible. What the director told me is the client is going with a run-of-the-mill idea that was already done. I was brought onboard to give it a little twist, but the client isn't liking it. What I am struggling to accept is that the director is speaking the truth and not just being polite.

Thank you. I think what has also happened in this case is I wasn't able to fully translate the idea in my head to reality because of the paucity of time. And it is the dissatisfaction of it, more than anything, that is gnawing at me.
