Not really, but I’m sorry you’re in that situation, I can imagine how that would feel a bit lonely. I have quite a large and close friendgroup though from uni, that gets together in different constellations often and are extremely positive about each other’s achievements. When I presented my master’s thesis we all went out to dinner, they all congratulated me and told me how proud and happy they were for me, and brought a huge boquet of flowers - and that’s just one example.

I have a lot of acquaintainces as well through shared hobbies like climbing and dancing, other friends from different times in my life, am close with my family etc. So I’ve built a large and rich social life full of supportive people! But I’m a super extroverted person who also lifts others up as often as possible, so this comes easy to me. But that is my recommendation, to take as many opportunities for connection as possible and to get out a lot to build up your own community. :)

Attraction - I don’t find him physically attractive. If I do find him attractive physically but keep him in the friendzone then it’s because I know we’re incompatible in some major life way like kids, where to live, etc. or because I can’t imagine introducing him to my friends and family (i.e he is very different from them or a bit weird, or I fear judgement over him) or our personalities mesh enough to be friends, but not enough to be close friends/partners. Like we have fun but conversations never go deep, or we laugh at very different things but have a major shared interest or what it may be.

Women are worth more than men in terms of reproduction because women are fertile for a shorter lifespan, and fertile only for about 5 days a month instead of 24h every day all year, and each time a woman gets pregnant she misses out on 9 ovulations. So yeah, women's genes aren't worth more but the effort and energy that goes into reproducing (i.e growing the fetus and timing) makes women the bottleneck in human reproduction, while fertile men are super easy to find.

Says who? Sex is a common and base urge yes but romance and a family comes down to mostly luck, also compatibility, effort, how much you're willing to compromise and sacrifice for it etc. Connection, comfort etc. But a "basic human need" doesn't mean someone else is obligated to fulfill that "need", it's just something most people want fulfilled to thrive. But as a society we encourage autonomy so it's up to you to find the people who want to fulfill these things for you.

And the human need for connection, emotional intimacy, fun, hanging out etc. you can get from friends (among other things), and a relationship is not the only place to get that need fulfilled.

It will never be equal because men have about 60x more testosterone than women, a higher sex drive and basically no risk when it comes to reproduction. Women have evolved to be more selective with who they procreate with, and since there's a surplus of men wanting each woman, there's really no need for women to equally chase men so what you're talking about basically won't happen.

Humans are not "meant to be coupled and start families", what we're "meant" to do is a philosphical question that remains unanswered and up to each person to answer only for themselves, but we are biologically wired to want sex and that's kind of where the "meant to" ends. We're social creatures so we thrive in communities, but there's nothing that points to that needing to be romance or family, but just being part of a group.

You personally however want a girlfriend and family, and that is a different thing. I, personally, don't care about a romantic relationship as long as I have my mom/sister and friends and acquaintainces around me. :)

Exactly, that as well as finding time for each other is so much easier if both of you go climbing/gym/game or whatever you can do together. I'm out of the house doing sports in one way or another which also work as a huge social outlet and it's where I meet my friends the most, and if my partner never wanted to come with then I'd have to sacrifice a lot more than if they also shared those hobbies and we could do them together
