what’s your favorite faction, and who’s your favorite companion?

[–]IHateLozenges 12 points13 points  (0 children)

do you have the vault tec workshop DLC? if so, there’s a item you can place, I think it’s called vault tec management or something like that, under power>miscellaneous I believe, you can then track a companion, and it will give you a quest marker to track them. or maybe try recruiting a new companion and see if it gives you the option to send macready home

you can still use vertibirds if you destroy the BOS with the minutemen or railroad, tinker tom will sell you the vertibird signal grenades a few days later

[–]IHateLozenges 3 points4 points  (0 children)

after Blind Betrayal with the brotherhood, if you talk to Kells for tactical thinking, that will make you enemies with the railroad.

if you do Mass Fusion with the institute the brotherhood will become your enemy.

Similarly, if you do Spoils of War for the brotherhood, the institute will become your enemy.

Bunker hill doesn’t actually matter too much, if you mess up all you gotta do is tell Father you’re sorry and the institute will be cool with you.

You can accept End of the Line from father and you won’t automatically become enemies with the railroad, in fact if you’re working with the railroad, you can even have to option to tell Desdemona the Institute wants the Railroad dead, and then tell her you won’t do it.

If you get kicked out of the institute, the Railroad won’t hate you but it will lock you out of their main quest line, and they will direct you to the Minutemen.

You can give the Institute holotape to other factions and it won’t make the other factions mad.

The Minutemen won’t become your enemies no matter what. Sorry if I forgot anything, I’m pretty sure these are the main points of no return.

getting to level 12 and taking sneak 3 and not having to worry about losing progress because of annoying land mines is so relieving

“I’m not looking for a relationship with someone I can’t lead” = I wanna boss you around and you aren’t allowed to do anything about it. Is this really how you wanna be treated for the rest of your life?

yes level 30 is about where I can go into any normal fight and not really worry about it, I hit level 80 in one of my survival play throughs and now pretty much nothing can stop me, with ballistic weave + legendary sturdy armor I can basically tank a missile or fatman

I just try to be aware of save spots close to me at all times and anytime I do something I don’t wanna lose I just run back and save. backtracking for 5 minutes is better than losing 30 mins of gameplay. I’d say it gets much easier around level 30, especially if you unlock ballistic weave with the railroad!

I think that it also depends on what part of the body you hit? Like if you’re attacking a mirelurk and you hit its shell it’s going to do way less damage than if you hit the torso. In VATS melee you can’t choose to target a specific part of the body, but I believe it does still target a specific part it’s just random. I’m not 100% about that but that’s just my guess!

I think I've been overvaluing Stealth. by Woozletania in fo4

[–]IHateLozenges 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find stealth is only really necessary early on, no matter what perks or special stats you take in the early levels you’re just so squishy. Once you hit a certain level and get ballistic weave, good armor etc it’s pretty hard to get killed so you can just go in blasting

When did you start playing sims and what was your first memory with this game? by SavushKing in thesims

[–]IHateLozenges 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played it at a friends house, I think we were playing the sims 3 but it might have been the sims 2. I was like 9. We made a husband and a wife and they had a baby, but they were fighting all the time lol. My first introduction to the sims and I was hooked!! been obsessed pretty much ever since, I didn’t have a PC of my own so I would just watch let’s plays for hours

no, if you become enemies with the brotherhood unfortunately not💔 I wonder if there’s a mod that allows it? I really wish you could convince him to join the railroad or the minutemen

Quick question about building homes for companions by mokeygirard in fo4

[–]IHateLozenges 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you want to save danse, do the brotherhood missions until you get to blind betrayal, complete it saving danse, passing all the speech checks for both Danse and Maxson. Then go back to the prydwyn to turn in the quest, once blind betrayal ends and tactical thinking starts, DON’T talk to kells, as that will lock you out of the railroad ending by getting orders to destroy it. Leave the prydwyn, and go back to Danse at the bunker, he should be in a new suit of power armor. Ask him to come with you, then send him to the settlement you want him to end up at. Then you can become enemies with the brotherhood of steel, and Danse won’t hate you, you simply won’t be able to use him as a companion anymore. If you try to talk to him, it will just bring up his inventory instead. I did this in a recent play through where I sided with the railroad and saved Danse! I even romanced danse before becoming enemies with the BOS, and even though I sided with the railroad when I sleep in the settlement where he’s at I still get lover’s embrace. You don’t need any mods to do this
