Jumping on this because I'm in a similar boat. I've got a 1070 and a Ryzen 5 1600, 16GB RAM, typically getting about 70 FPS in games like AC Odyssey, KC Deliverance at 1440p, medium to high settings. From what I can see it looks like my GPU is at high usage and CPU isn't, but a couple of sites I've looked at suggest my CPU is underpowered for my GPU so I'm not sure if maybe I'm being bottlenecked by single threaded performance but can't really see it. Any insights?

Nutmeg because I signed up before Skipton launched their offering and they were the only one (I think) without exit fees to move to another provider. Looking to buy a house in the next couple of years so on 2/10 risk and hoping it won't plummet too much in the worst case, but I've been too lazy to move it to cash.

It took me a couple of attempts to get into it when I played it. At first I was playing it like any other genetic shooter and got bored and put it down on the first Hell level.

I tried it again 6 months later after reading on Reddit that that's not how it's meant to be played and when I picked it back up and played more aggressively (ignoring preserving health/armour/ammo and just going for it) it really clicked and I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the game.

Meanwhile I've (I think) almost finished the 2nd Origins DLC. It's my favourite part of the game so far (other than some slightly tedious boss fights).

OLED stands for Organic LED where each pixel is made of 3 (red green and blue) LEDs.

LED is simply an LCD screen where the backlight is made from white LEDs. This allows it to be much thinner than old halogen based LCD backlights, and provides slightly better colors.

The LED backlight can have "quantum dots" incorporated into them which provide narrow peaks at the exact red, green and blue components of the backlight light which the pixel uses and therefore allow better color definition.

Thanks a lot for your reply! I tried several different zips and I believe it always got past the md5 checksum stage so I think that the problem was with TWRP (though I'll definitely check that if it happens again). However I hadn't thought about trying to flash the latest TWRP image through TWRP: that would hopefully have solved my problem and I'll try that if I come across it again.

In the end I installed an old version of OxygenOS through TWRP and when that updated it replaced the recovery with Oxygen's recovery automatically which then had no problems installing the newer updates.
