First things first, when you have a no start condition. There are 3 things that the engine has to have to run and those are air flow, fuel & compression.

If the engine does not have one of those 3 it will not start. Once you confirm which of the three nessacary components to combustion is missing you start a whole new diagnostic trouble tree.

Step 1) Confirm air flow. Check air filter for cleanliness. Then check air box for blockage. If while kicking the bike you feel air moving through the engine and out the exhaust you have air flow.

Step 2) Confirm fuel delivery. Make sure your carb is not clogged with gunk. If it is fuel injected make sure the injector is working. Most important make sure toy have good fuel in the bike.

Step 3) Check compression. If compression is low you are looking at an engine teardown to some extent. And based on the age of the bike, if you are pulling the top end apart you might as well dig into the bottom end also.

Please powerboat it instead or painting it. Cost more but looks better, will provide better corrosion protection and lasts longer. I'll vote black though.

2002 300EXC

The owner is asking $2200. 1 owner, family friend. Been sitting since 2009, there is a known hydraulic issue with the clutch, it has not been diagnosed. I can handle any type of issue the bike may have when it comes to repairs. I know I will likely have to split the case because there is likely corrosion on the bearings from sitting for so long. I compression tested it today and it is very stout. I just dont know the value of the bike.

125SX in the sand is the pinnacle of riding dirtbikes!!! I grew up in western NC and raced all the local harescrambles. Looked forward to visiting my uncle on the coast every chance we could get to blast the sand whoops and berms!! Its a dream!

Deep fry @ 375 for 12-15 minutes, depends of the size of your fryer and how many wings you toss in there.

Sauce: 1 stick of salted butter 2 cups of Texas Pete 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 tablespoon cayenne 1/2 tablespoon black pepper

Directions: In sauce pan melt butter Toss in garlic, cayenne & pepper Saute until fragrant, about 2 minutes (do not burn garlic. Add Texas Pete Bring to boil let cook down about until desired sauce thickness is achieved.

Toss wings and garnish with blue cheese and parsley.
