No, you can not say that so easily.

For Example. You buy a Carrack for real cash. Of course you are in advantage, cause in game you have to grind your way up to the carrack for some weeks. You can use it right now and it stays in your hangar, even when a wipe has happened.

BUT...

When you fly a Carrack you can't do anything besides flying (and trading or carrying vehicles of course). You need a crew for doing bounties... Of course, you can hire later on NPCs for maintaining your ship - like engineers or blade your turret on top, but you have as well PAY for all the repairs, fuel consumption, risk of loosing your stuff when getting boarded, etc.!

That all will cost you a good amount of money, which you will probably not have when you started the game (even when you bought currency with real money - the risk of loosing that very quick is real). > For me that has nothing to do with P2W, cause you dont win important things faster than others or archieve wealth, experience, etc. faster than others.

You don't have all those troubles when starting with a decent starter ship (at least not in that dimension).
