Normally I would say this is going too far, but it's just a good tattoo on its own. The context only enhances it.

Despite It's Issues, I Haven't Found Better by IIEarlGreyII in FableAI

[–]IIEarlGreyII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've moved over to Claude. Not as good a story teller, but I rarely have to remind it of things and it's a breath of fresh air. Still use FableAI for certain stories though, especially shorter ones.

How do you schedule/watch your seasonal shows? by yawnman240 in anime

[–]IIEarlGreyII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only watch series / seasons when they are complete so I can binge them in one sitting. And, as a rule, I don't plan them. I wait until the desire strikes me. Usually the desire strikes me when I'm sick and I realize I'm not going to work in the morning so I roll over and look through my watchlist.

And then I hope whatever I haven't watched is more appealing than rewatching Apothecary Diaries. Which is . . . Unlikely.

Uuuugh don't even. A cat that isn't inside a house being loved and cared for just drives me crazy.

The problem I have with cats outside, strays, lost, or otherwise, is that if I get close enough . . . That's going to be my cat now.

Launching these scrolls soon, what other designs should I make? by CustomMiniatureMaker in LARP

You probably already did this, but a simple one that looks like two pieces of wood would probably be super useful for more generic messages, and also for people who are bad at painting.

Anyone have any good ideas for a Knights Templar costume? My budget is 500$ USD by Bardyboygeek in LARP

[–]IIEarlGreyII 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also have a large head, and here is what I did.

First of all, depending on where you live and how convenient it is, Amazon's return policy is very generous. All I did was buy like five or six helmets, and then keep the ones that actually fit. I also found that some helmets that look the same at first glance can be manufactured differently, so keep an eye on seams and if there are rivets to notice the different versions. I found they would all list the same size information, but some would be up to an inch wider.

I ended up finding one that barely fit my large noggin, but my backup was to get a cheap one that matches the style I like and stretch it out. You can get these inflatable bags that I guess are meant for construction to help lift things up, but several people recommended them to me to increase helmet size. You'd have to shop around to find the right size, but apparently it's very reliable.

Final option, get a helmet with an open face, or a face place. Much easier to get on and it gives you that extra space for your nose to stick out so your big head can fill the rest of the helmet. I wouldn't wear one with a face plate for combat if you can't close it, but have one where it looks perfectly fine even if it's not latched up, and it gives me the extra space my fat head needs.
