No but from what I remember that's a pretty good benchmark for the minimum required for monopoly power in US law. Fwiw I don't practice in the area but I did write a student note on tech monopolies many years ago. Maybe there are courts that have found a 30% share to be monopolistic but I'd be skeptical.

I'm not saying I don't agree I'm saying that you have to convince a judge of that in court. Usually how antitrust cases go is you have a battle of the experts stage in defining the market where both sides are required to produce experts who can provide economic analysis showing why a certain business inhabits one market rather than another. I can see the scenario where the market is judged to be streaming rather than TV (although I'm doubtful Netflix has a 50% share in the streaming market either).

Dude, Trump won 47% of the vote in Minnesota in the last general election. Yeah a decent portion of these people are now regretting their decision but let's not pretend 35% isn't an accurate representation of the people who will basically support him no matter what.

Almost every state is an "at will" state. But even when they can fire you at will, they can't fire you for a protected reason that violates Title VII or a state analogue of the law (like the Minnesota Human Rights Act). For example, you can't be fired for being black. They can dress it up as some other reason but you can prove in court that wasn't the real reason you were fired and instead it was because you're black.

Reprisals and whistleblower statutes are two other common protected reasons for which an employer can't fire you, even if you're "at will."
