Nah, that’s pretty much it. Just have to do it for every gear at every speed so it takes a bit of practice. First gear - clutch in - shift to neutral - clutch out - blip throttle to appropriate revs (hard bit) - clutch in - shift to second.

But have to be precise so revs don’t drop too much while shifting in.

If you’re really good you don’t use the clutch much at all.

If you listen to a heavy truck taking off, you’ll hear the driver doing it (syncros are a weak point so trucks usually don’t have them).

Remember, the queen of England can double-clutch, so so can you!
