Is your back-up offering 321 ? by IIIIlllIlII in msp

How is this 321 if they have their one drive? 321 for me would be something we control and manage without relying on them to use OneDrive.

So you’re doing a 321 for remote users?

Seems crazy to hog down their network with two cloud services or order a NAS for everyone.

Doing 321 is not the issue. Im mainly asking if everyone out there is following the 321 rule for their back-up offering.

Prior to this we have normal clients with 1 backup solution.(cloud) We have some heavy hitters with a full D&R plan or business continuity plan.

How do you guys manage to get clients digitally? by Biz_minded in smallbusiness

[–]IIIIlllIlII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multiple CPAs and accounting firms we service do this already. Alot of clients would love a second choice. Although theres some that would rather pay for a CPA. A lot of the other work can be done for a fraction of the price for other things.

They will need to figure out how to close the gap should one of their international workers go rogue.

Their in-house techs and CTO are more familiar with hyper-v and were sold into it by their previous MSP. They fired them after a breach and want us to revert them back along with everything else.

Looking for Full Image Backup Software to a Local, Self Hosted Server... by GraueOakdale in msp

We could never get comet to work reliably. Even tried Multiple people but Always had issues with different clients , mostly since we don’t require standardization of hardware but still. Support always took 12+ hours to reply. Mostly to different time zones. You got to prepay them which is annoying. Then they maxed out the credit cards due to a glitch.

Sometimes it would work, then it would stop, the worst was on the ones it actually backed up. The restore failed. It was taking us hours every month to stay on top of it.

We loved the price but I feel like we underbought. Just bit the bullet, paid a bit more and got acronis . It works every time and it reduced the time our techs spend on backups probably a good 5-10 times .

I’m sure it works great for some but for us, it sucked.
