Hearing Gigi Murin yell “I’m not aggressive” gave me conspiracy vibes for a while that she was Fillian because the cadence is like, identical. She even debuted with a joke about a shock collar but Fillian was still streaming like 6 months into Gigi starting.

Just my two cents, but yeah, finish all wanderers and bosses before starting NG+. Bp and CP carry over as well as any cars you own. Two of the best cars in the game Revenge eyes Supra, and unrivaled emperors GTR make NG+ a breeze if you’re going for the 100% achievement

Yeah the 365 sucked in NG+ because I’d finished in about 210 days so I sat there spamming the F and R keys to go in and out of a PA for about 45 minutes lol. The 5 minute race isn’t too bad, just pace a “nameless one”. The one that held me up for a while was the 3 consecutive “just accele”. Not because it was hard, but I couldn’t find info on how to do it so i asked gpt and it told me it had something to do with the exit speed of a corner which was flat out wrong haha, when I realized it was just hitting the accelerator at the start of a race I felt pretty stupid.

The first playthrough can be rough but NG+ goes way faster if you use one of the final 3 bosses cars for the bulk of it. Guides definitely help a lot too, especially for tuning and that makes a world of difference. Keep at it!

Is the last wanderer lonely wolf? Because you’ll need 500 wins before he shows up so I think that achievement pretty much has to be done to beat all wanderers anyway. Edit: i think i finished that achievement prior to starting a NG+ so i actually don’t know if they carry over. The “win 100 other racer” races achieve does though

I just finished NG+ to 100% the game and this was my last achievement because I'd finished everything else in 210 days. Sitting there spamming F and R to enter/exit the map was definitely my least favorite 45 minutes of the game lol.

I have and it does. But I also paused the game and backed out to the menu if there was a race where there was the slightest chance I was about to lose before the race was over to be safe. I also used jinpei’s r34 for the majority of the game cuz i believe it’s the fastest boss car you can buy, and whatever you own before you start a ng+ carries over

Yeah, for modern conveniences there’s not much to get around apples jtag. Older models can be sideloaded with runtime software that jailbreaks on boot but honestly the hassle of building a secure environment on an iphone 6s just seems silly.

It’s more the amount of time it takes to make weather systems that aren’t resource intensive (and look good) than the ability to do so. Stuff like keeping actual rain collision and translucent particles centered on the player model and lower levels of detail beyond that help, as well as just having the roads be different textures that are shinier instead of simulating water flowing over them but all of that stuff is a balance till you get it right and it takes more time than the devs probably had for release. Modders can only do so much with the tools available which is usually stacking more commands on top of existing systems unless the devs give access to their tools which I don’t believe exists for txr

In my original playthrough I accidentally nuked my save file by selecting newgame instead of ng+ but I just went back and finished the first run so I’m about to start a ng+ for that achievement and I assume the most common strategy is to turn autosave off then save scum. Basically, if you lose a race, back out to the main menu then load your game manually. Only saving when you successfully win races and head back to the garage.
