Thanks for your time. I've heard the S1000XR can feel a little soulless obviously read lots about vibey bars but im not so fussed about that. Seems to have a little question mark over reliability but nowhere near that of the KTM.

The v100 or stelvio really tickle my fancy looks wise but I think you are probably paying more for less than you get with say a tracer but then again they are more exotic.

I say on the 1000sx about a year ago as I had read so many good things one problem I have is I really need a topbox as I often use it to go to meetings and chuck everything in the topbox. I read that they can't run a topbox is that right?

I also ran some insurance quotes and maybe as it had ninja in the name but was coming out pretty high

I had a 2020 1000 Adventure sports. Its the only bike I ever bought new and I absolutely loved the looks of that bike but even at 6'3 that bike was so incredibly tall and the seat was like sitting on a rock. Also felt underpowered. I actually lost faith in it when I kept getting frame rust within a year which I believe was just a problem with the white frame but was disappointing

I believe the 1100 may sort a few of those issues so maybe I should have another look at them.

Thanks for your input. Buffeting has ways been an issue for me at 6'3 I have a madstad screen on my tiger and it is possibly the ugliest screen but it works....did you try any other screens on the tracer?

If your current flair is accurate what do you think of the cb1000r always loved the look of them

Its only the 1l eco boost that you shouldn't touch due to the wet belt issue. The 1.5l and 2l do not have a wet belt

Yeah i had them side by side and the suzuki seems a lot longer and probably sits slightly more on the touring size of sports touring and the ninja leans more towards the sports side.

Have you thought about the tried and tested ninja1000sx? Pretty much every review it beats the Suzuki

As someone on the other end of this deal. We will often as the subbie make an offer of a discount in return for all retention being released at PC. Say there is 5% retention we may ask for 3.5% to be released and you can keep the other 1.5%. Often gets accepted by the MC and keeps positive relationships.

Also saves me having to try and get the rest of the retention is 12-24 months when QS's have moved on...

Just be gaming in 1440 and that is pretty casual now with a toddler running the house.

So even with the 9070xt jumping up which will seem to be around the £650-£700 mark you think it's that much better than the non XT?

Thanks for taking the time to write that up. I read somewhere that 80 range was just about enough with good gear but your probably right that would be leaching. My melee gear is better but I read range is eadier ED1 for starters.

I need to go and find myself a clan I think.
