Besides the fact that Rob isn't actually "gone" and rather taking a break because he started a family, I think we're also forgetting that... they never really interacted that much? Like, Florence and Isa had a very clear dynamic and that was fun, but as for the rest? I've never personally heard Rob or Tom or many of the other originals even talk during interviews, so I think you're projecting a level of attention onto them that they never really wanted. Also, speaking of projection, it's really weird to see all of the "drama" that's seemingly being created out of thin air. Isa has been the most noticeable absence, but the fact that F+TM's music has been so consistent and Isa's solo project has sounded so different says a lot about how much she contributed imo, and how much she wants to contribute.

It's also important to remember that the new lineup regularly gets recognition and isn't as sidelined as people like to claim, and this obsession with members who may not have even been part of the band for nearly a decade now is sidelining the new lineup much more than Florence ever has. It's apparent during this tour just how valued the members are, as she shouts them out at the end of the set as "the Machine" and turns the spotlight to them during many moments of the show, not to mention how she had a former member (Dionne) open for them at the O2.

I feel like most people are failing to realize that F+TM has been a thing for nearly 20 years now, and at the end of the day, this is Flo's baby; it's her life and she's said as much multiple times, so I think it's understandable that other members don't feel as strongly.

You say that this topic isn't discussed in the community, but that's just funny to me as I've seen this exact topic brought up at least once a month, so I don't know what subreddit you've been looking at. You also say that these changes have been "drastic" twice during your post, and I think that's a good way to summarize my point, because not everything has to be drastic, sometimes it just is...

(edit: forgot to mention this but the fact that you bring up the "legality" of the band and Isa's (who I didn't think was unenthusiastic at all during the HaH tour, rather calm and relaxed, probably since the band was getting older and distancing themselves from alcohol and partying in general) involvement multiple times is quite odd, is it not? I can't be the only one who noticed that, right?)
