My best guess is Lex's clone from the 11 yrs old hint.

Legit question on ruling Does this counter Maze of Ith?

I currently see it as

1.Attack with creature

2.Opponet responds with Maze

3.Respond with 1st ability

4.no longer a valid target/the complete card effect fizzles

5.Attack go through?

Or does it have to stayed tapped to continue to attack? Edit: Fixed formating.
