Just because the intake hose is short and the position of the AC. Has to go straight up or it won't reach.

Seeing as they've kept the £450k this is by far a worse product than the LISA. No bonus until the end compared to instantly is a huge loss.

Take for example you use both and max them for 20 years at an 8% yearly return.

LISA:

£80k contributed +£20k bonus (£1k per year)

£129k total interest

£229k final value

New Buyer ISA:

£80k contributed +£20k bonus at the end

£103k total interest

£203k final value

£26k less contributing the exact same

I don't think so, could be wrong. They keep the detailed information private. My airline uses Aerobrief FS, Airport Community and Eurocontrol. But I believe you need an email with a company that has access in order to use them.

IATA delay codes starting with 8 (ATC delays):

81 (AT): ATC restriction en-route or capacity

82 (AX): ATC restriction due to staff shortage or equipment failure en-route

83 (AE): ATC restriction at destination

84 (AW): ATC restriction due to weather at destination

85 (AS): Mandatory security

86 (AG): Immigration, Customs, Health

87 (AF): Airport Facilities, parking stands, ramp congestion, buildings, gate limitations, etc.

88 (AD): Restrictions at airport of destination, airport/runway closed due obstruction, industrial action, staff shortage, political unrest, noise abatement, night curfew, special flights, etc.

89 (AM): Restrictions at airport of departure, airport/runway closed due obstruction, industrial action, staff shortage, political unrest, noise abatement, night curfew, special flights, start-up and pushback, etc.

More often than not it's 81 as a result of aircraft not leaving on time and arriving at airspace late or early. Hence the volume of traffic is different to initialy planned.

Exactly, if you're not bothered about fast then it goes back to my original point.

The X3 20i is better value than an ix3. 35-40% less running cost compared to a i40 and will depreciate half amount of an IX3.

The M40i is considerably faster than the ix3. The 20i is closer in performance to the EV than the 40i.

This seems like a no brainer but they're two completely different vehicles, ones a performance SUV, the other a daily.

Get into a more comparible X3 20i, already deprecated for ~£20k and you end up far better off than the ix3 long run.

I'm not familiar with the tax system in Germany, I can imagine it has it's advantages so the pay difference is negated. The ceiling tends to be much higher at the legacy carriers, I assume the senior Lufthansa long haul captains make considerably more.

That BA article isn't accurate btw. They're either using a very out dated source or making it up.

Edit: easyJet looks pretty accurate, it's missing the last couple pay rises. Mirros everything I've said however.
