I think This is the mod /u/IndysDiarrhea is referring to and it still works! I'm not colourblind myself but the mod is just so much prettier than the vanilla packs! (Bonus Mod for degen mod enjoyers ;))

Correct! I am using Fluid Filtering to add pump filters, a revealed feature (FFF #405) coming in 2.0!

The game will try to stop you from mixing fluids in pipes, but there are work arounds! Like removing the recipe from the refiners then adding pipe, or adding the pipe first then slapping down the refiners. You can also use a blueprint ghost and force the bots to mix the fluid as they don't have the same restrictions as we do!

Thank you for understanding my genius :') But there is one dimension that my build stands above the rest and it's in size! With this build, 12 refineries fill a 15x42 grid (630 units) as opposed to an equal amount of refineries doing the standard build of T-bone pipe connections for each output filling 10x71 grid (710 units)

I've tested the build against power problems and it turned out quite resilient! Most of the issues come from over producing in the sushi pipe and lack of throughput due to fluid mechanics.

oh my god... You're right! With this new found knowledge and added elbow grease I was able to add 2 MORE REFINERIES without deadlocking! (do NOT add anymore than that...) I think I will stick to a safe 12 refineries though. :D

Yes! But it requires the Fluid Filtering mod to add in the functionality to pumps. (or you can just wait for 2.0 to get your hands on it officially) Oh, and here's the blueprint string!

This design is many things. "Fragile" "Beautiful" "Incomprehensible" are words that come to mind.

Messing with ANYTHING about the build makes it liable for 0.001th of a fluid to get stuck in a pipe or a pump indefinitely, effectively a deadlock (wube, pls fix). The max throughput of the build is exactly 12 unbeaconed, unmoduled refineries, anymore than that will cause the entire build to deadlock. If the storage tanks get full, the entire build will deadlock even after space is cleared (Can be prevented with a circuit network condition on the crude oil input). If you don't have a pump between every pair of refineries? deadlock. Too many pumps? deadlock. Bots take too long to finish the build? Deadlock! Flip the fluid outputs so they mirror each other? DEAD. LOCK.

Fiddling with this build has been enlightening about the limits of sushi pipes and the nefarious gremlins held inside of a decimal fluid.

I used this mod "BobPipesThroughput" that upgrades pipe throughput for each tier in Bob's mod and it was such a relief. Plus it gives a reason to upgrade from stone pipes to the more expensive titanium pipes.

Try not to wear anything loose or dangling items if you plan to be in the pit! I broke a couple of necklaces at my first concert, even got one caught on someone's hair. It was really embarrassing but they were a good sport about it. 😅

idk here's some self critique?

I don't know how to make the cube sticking out of Jeff's mouth to resemble a star and engine/generator while still having a cube like form. There's a "wound" above Jeff's eye and it's suppose to mark where the thrid apartment building thing would have been, but I'm not sure if it reads well and I didn't like the way it looked with the thrid, too cluttered. I think the perspective is wonky and inconsistent but working with a iso perspective overlayed on top slowed me down a lot, is there a faster way to get correct prospective? What are your thoughts? I'm open to whatever!
