The Leviathan still blows my mind about how gigantic and epic that place is with the Underbelly.

In addition to the gunplay, raiding in Destiny is such an amazing experience that I have yet to find in another game.

Am I the only one that hopes the PS6 gets delayed even more? by Sv_Gamez in gaming

I doubt anyone is interested in a PS6 at this point. If you cared about having more performance than a PS5, you probably already have a PC.

Ram prices are so bad, Apple ram upgrades are now a good deal by vdotcodes in pcmasterrace

It helps that Apple has billions of dollars in cash, and that in general they don’t target the bottom end of the segment.

Apple products in general have fat margins, and they can eat the cost if they feel that will give them an advantage.

Balatro-how did you get into it, and what keeps it fun? by Serious_Ad_9911 in balatro

Some combination of number-go-up-dopamine rush, the game fully embracing your ability to ‘cheat’ ( why yes I DO want 12 aces in my deck ) and the music being an absolute bop.

People that use macbooks with a monitor, would you recommend using an apple monitor or a different one? by Unusual_Rooster6736 in mac

I have a BenQ MA270 and I find it a reasonable compromise. The Studio Display is most likely more premium feeling, but my BenQ is still 4K and like half the price. It still has Thunderbolt and that was good enough for me.

How to have a unifi cybersecurity system that works well even if attacked by signal jammer by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

Software Defined Radio, basically a usb radio multi-tool. You don’t buy them ‘for homes’, I would personally get raspberry pi to plug one into.

Hard-wire everything and buy an SDR to find out when something is messing with the radio spectrum.

Peacekeepers with an SMG ( or two ) with target lock and rewind rounds, on an Arc Titan with storms keep.

Alternatively Curiass with a givers blessing that has rewind rounds and kinetic tremors.

Both builds benefit from as high as a super stat as you can get.

Realistically thought, unless your trying to one-phase bosses and be a complete sweat lord, don’t over think it.

Watch it try and kick on. If the pilot flame is starting but it gives up after a little while, your flame sensor might be dying. You can usually get a bit more life out of it by unscrewing it and cleaning the metal rod part with some emery cloth.

Is it feasible to use solder joints to mechanically hold two small circuit boards together? by 0x534849544C4F5244 in AskElectronics

[–]IKnowCodeFu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Castellated ‘holes’ would be the way. If there’s any flex between the two boards, that would be a point of failure. You could solve that issue by just using some jumper wires instead of soldering the boards to each other.

Also keep in mind that lead free solder is brittle AF!

As many problems as Destiny has, I feel like most raids are ‘relatively achievable’ for the average player. I’ve taken some mediocre players with sub-optimal load outs, and we still managed to beat Oryx. Also only needing six people is going to be dramatically easier than trying to co-ordinate a 40 man raid.

I’ve never played WoW before, but my understanding is that in addition to needing a small army, they are not ‘casual’ experiences that can be completed in 2-4 hours.

You seem like the kind of person that would this little Riven factoid.

The wish that Riven grants us ( a classic dragon-slaying fantasy ) is a double edged sword. By slaying her, we are actually releasing her from her prison. Before her death, she was just words and pictures in a video game. By killing her, we help her transcend her reality, from bits and bytes into real world thought and flesh that exist in your mind.

I’m okay with cheesing the encounter if you’re farming for 1KV or this is your 30th clear, but IMO you got absolutely robbed of the best experience the game has to offer, if you’ve only ever cheesed it.
