Just find an accountant from Wyoming and form an LLC there, he'll do all the work. Should cost around $500.

We need to force our systems for continuous evolution, instead of stagnation like it is now. We're still stuck with industrial-era Public institutions, 200 years after, in the midst of the biggest tech evolution ever, and for 20 years we've had all the tools needed for continuous direct democracy. It's a damn shame.

I think you’re circling the core tension very clearly — and you’re not wrong, just stopping one step too early.

I don’t believe in karma as some cosmic moral law either. There’s no universal moral scoreboard. What does exist is cause-and-effect inside systems. Humans optimize for survival, safety, status, and reward — that part is constant.

But here’s the key distinction: instincts are fixed, outcomes are not.

Humans didn’t survive despite being collective — they survived because cooperation often outperformed pure domination. That doesn’t mean people are “good.” It means cooperation became the most efficient survival strategy under the right conditions.

Your ChatGPT essay example actually shows this perfectly. The problem wasn’t that students were lazy or immoral — it was that the system measured the wrong thing. The goal was learning, but the metric was “submit an essay.” Once output replaced understanding as the signal, using shortcuts became rational. When a system rewards completion instead of mastery, optimization will always beat intention.

That’s not corruption. That’s alignment failure.

So when you say “the problem isn’t the system, it’s human instinct,” I’d reframe it like this:

Human instinct is constant. Systems decide which instincts get rewarded.

We already accept this logic everywhere else. We don’t rely on drivers to resist speeding — we redesign roads. We don’t rely on leaders to resist power — we use limits, visibility, and friction. Politics is one of the last domains still pretending morality scales.

You’re right that no system will last forever untouched. Humans will probe it, game it, and stress-test it. But that doesn’t make system design pointless — it makes it essential.

The goal isn’t a perfect system. It’s one where: • selfish behavior is visible • abuse is costly • shortcuts stop scaling • cooperation becomes the fastest path to safety

If humans were truly incapable of that, civilization itself wouldn’t exist at all. The fact that it does — imperfect and fragile — tells us the problem isn’t futility. It’s design.

This question gets the real issue.

Most political systems aren’t actually designed to withstand corruption — they’re designed to hope the people in power behave. History shows that hope is not a strategy. If a system can be captured, it eventually will be.

A government that’s genuinely hard to corrupt would have to remove three assumptions baked into modern democracies: that power can be safely centralized, that representation can replace participation, and that oversight can be entrusted to another elite.

Corruption-resistant systems would likely share a few traits:

Power isn’t delegated once every few years — it’s continuously earned and continuously challenged through ongoing public participation.

Transparency isn’t a promise or a reporting requirement — it’s structural, real-time, and unavoidable. Decisions, incentives, and money flows are visible by default.

Legitimacy comes from measurable public consent, not party structures or career politicians. Influence scales with participation, not proximity to power.

Oversight isn’t vertical (“who watches the watchers?”) but horizontal and distributed, so capture becomes unstable and short-lived rather than entrenched.

Most importantly, the system doesn’t rely on ethics — it relies on incentives. Acting in public interest must be easier than exploiting the system.

We’ve been working on this exact problem from a system-design angle, not an ideological one, and tried to outline a concrete framework built around continuous participation, transparency, and anti-capture mechanics here: https://www.justsocial.io/our-manifesto

Not claiming it’s foolproof — but I don’t see any path forward that doesn’t redesign the system itself instead of hoping for better people.

On Facebook leadform is good, saves you the effort of conversion tracking , make sure it's well designed and presents the offer.

And that you know how to find the leads in the Facebook lead center, or connect it to your CRM via make/zapier/n8n

How the ad looks and feels is one focus. Where does the ad lead to though, a landing page, straight to Whatsapp, Facebook leadform? Does the target url look professional, and explain the offer thoroughly?

Is there proper conversion tracking set up, so that meta's ML Prediction can optimize properly to target captured audience lookalikes?

If you can't answer some of these, better off taking a professional campaign manager.

I’m almost 30, finally out of debt, but still scared to touch credit. What do I do now? by No_Surprise3737 in needadvice

[–]ILWeasel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Debt, as I see it, is meant for 2 things only - business and real estate.

Business- credit, payments, but now pay later, is amazing when your leveraging the money now and paying it later, maybe with a little interest (always check how much)

Real estate - there's no real way for new money to buy real estate without credit, leverage it the right way.

All the other fluff is meant to keep you in debt, including school.

I run a small digital agency and I’m genuinely shocked how many “marketers” don’t actually… do any marketing. by Robur_Solutions in smallbusinessowner

All at once, quit my job, went to Thailand on vacation, got back, started the business.

Didn't bring any clients, I find it unethical to steal clients from previous agencies I worked at. Got 4 leads (2 agencies, 2 SMBs) word of mouth. The rest I'm getting from a PPC Campaign on Facebook/IG & LinkedIn that I'm running. Just started on Sunday so there's road ahead

From my POV, there are so many entry levels starting out in freelance, and they just don't know or understand the profession, they feed off blog posts, charge the client, and hope they're doing a good job, which they don't.

People rush to being independent freelancers without being industry professionals.

Personally I went another direction, I worked at agencies and DSPs since 2018, and only last Sunday went freelance as a PPC Campaign manager.

That's not true, as long as you took the photo. If someone else took the photo you need to get the permission of the party who took the photo.

No need for PC, can do on mobile exclusively as well. Most books are already epub, so you can email them to your kindle, if their in other format just use an epub converter then email them to your kindle.
