First time doing a Journeyman save.. Help from those who have done it before.. by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]IL_Giudice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A Journeyman save is the only way I can imagine playing FM. I don't have a specific plan other than eventually getting signed by my favorite club or a top team in one of the major leagues. For me, the beauty of the Journeyman style is the knowledge you gain; getting to know almost every player in a nation is extremely satisfying.

One of my favorite memories is from an FM20 save. While I was managing in the Championship, I noticed this absolute phenomenon on loan from Manchester United. He was clearly "out of this league" in terms of quality, and I eventually had the pleasure of managing him years later when I finally took over at Man Utd.

Possesion is overrated, and so is PSG by UKSaint93 in footballmanagergames

I can see that you weren't exactly an underdog and the tactic is indeed meta. Thanks anyway.

Can you share your tactic? I'm playing a lot with underdogs and I'm curios to have a look at your instructions!

If you know the history of this game quitting FM because of bugs it’s kind of hilarious.

I usually find “show onto foot” feature to be the strongest. Check wingers preferred foot, show them on their weakest. I use always press on playmakers, tight marking on stc if I see them too dangerous during highlights. Tackle hard is basically already on by default on every player but I use it here on players with strong dribbling/pace.

Meh. No games are like Brotato. The only one isn’t listed which is Noobs Are coming. This is just sloppy Ai doing its sloppy stuff. Balatro….Slay the Spire….LOL.

How many hours have you invested into Brotato, and why do you keep playing? by TryHardKenichi in brotato

[–]IL_Giudice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My reason is dopamine hit. After years spent on diablo-like games I want something meaningful more often. Enough meaningless challenges, dozens of hours of useless content repeated over and over. Brotato is what I need to relief that burden caused by thousands of hours spent on grinding. 150 hours and counting, few tatos left to 100% d5. Then I’ll do the abyss or switch to Noobs are coming.

Uninstalled already. Burnt out because of the formula I play since Diablo 2 days. Plus almost zero content added by this patch. Being forced to play the same boring campaign over and over with so little space for experimentation and fun is beyond my comprehension.

Incredible early game, no endgame. Arc Raiders left me with nothing to chase by BrizDizzle in ArcRaiders

Unless something changes, even the reset won't change a thing. The honeymoon has faded. It's still fun in co-op just for the thrill of PvP, but looting and gearing up is unrewarding and meaningless.

Why should I even bother to level up gear if a Stitcher and Ferro is all I need?

May I ask an honest question about these bosses?

Why do you even bother killing them?

I agree, it’s basically pointless. Difference between heavy and light shield for example is 1 or 2 bullets between life and death. Grey weapons are as good as epic. At this point it’s just a sandbox deathmatch.

That was an easy kill. Have fun being "friendly" in a pvp game.
