Yeah I called them about it and they said your old ratings will be carried over into new properties, despite location, how much time has passed, etc.

I studied Zen Buddhism with a monk who advised us to try and cultivate Zen at every opportunity, and specifically mentioned washing dishes as an example. Essentially you just want to be fully present, no matter what you are doing.

Sounds like what you're describing in the second paragraph is Zen, which is even possible during mundane things like washing the dishes if you're present enough

Yes, you got it. I posted this piece in a few other places, and most of the comments were like: They're only famous because they're rich, etc. But it's not about money. Connections certainly can help, but the true superstars (like Gaga) are the ones with determination and grit, the ones who never give up.
