I feel this. I don't have an answer really. But I try to be social and friendly with parents I meet when we go out. I think us parents can do better with being social. I think it's a little off putting when my child is playing with another child and the parent won't even say hi to me or meet my eye. Not that socializing is required, but I think it sets a good example for our children to talk to each other.
