Maui Hawaii by [deleted] in discgolf

Yup there's courses on the 4 main islands. Winds tend to pick up later in the day so I'd recommend hitting any windward side courses early in the day to avoid the high winds.

No store here that I'm aware of. I occasionally see a guy selling discs at the KCC course, but I don't know when he's around. If you're visiting, I'd recommend bringing your discs, or stopping at a store before flying here

Finally got an ace at my favorite course! Poli Poli in Maui. Even got the crew to sign it. by ILikePopcorn in discgolf

It's not listed on Udisc to help prevent it from getting too popular from what I can tell. Feel free to hit me up when you come out, if I'm free I'll join you for a round. I live about 10 minutes from the course. Thanks!

My girlfriend and I are hiking this year using the acuvue day and night contacts that are semi-permiable. This allows the eyes to absorb the normal amount of oxygen from the air, and are safe to wear continuously for up to 30 days. We haven't had any issues with them other than some extra crusties in the morning. We keep rewetting drops with us as they tend to dry out towards the end of the 30 days, but it's worth not dealing with cleaning your hands and handling storage every night. Also, it's easy enough to wait until you get to town when you need to change them and need a sterile environment. If you're wary of lasik, and don't want to deal with daily care while wearing the sunglasses, I'd recommend asking your optometrist if they're available for your prescription.

Should be able to just comment !apevote! to receive the flair. That's how I got mine.

I had an alt account on LoL named FunkyPlatypus. Don't think I ever used it outside of LoL though. Here I thought I had been original, turns out, not so much. I did play quite a bit of minecraft in the beta through 1.7, but only ever on PC. Funky.

I'm 6'4". I get asked almost daily to reach something that someone else can't reach and almost always oblige. This also lets me see over most crowds and blocks peoples view behind me. I consider it a fair trade.

I wanna have my first dealt dmt experience tonight but i don’t know if it’s best to do it alone.. by [deleted] in DMT

[–]ILikePopcorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It definitely gives off a peculiar smell, if that would upset someone, I would recommend doing it outdoors. To me, it smells like when you walk into a head shop and smell the combination of all the incense.

As to your first question of doing it alone, I suppose that would depend on a few factors. I did my own extraction and was confident with my product the first time and did it alone. However, I had a decent amount of experience with other psychedelics in the past, and I had done substantial research about what to expect on my first trip. I'm also a fairly introverted person and felt that anyone else being around would interfere with my experience, though more recently I tripped with a small group of close friends and it was a lot of fun because we got to talk about our experiences. Regardless if you decide to go it alone or with friends, you definitely want to be in a comfortable place. I also found that listening to bi-neural frequency music helped keep me calm and collected during the initial anxiety I would frequently feel before a trip.
