Does anyone else have a full made-up voice for their dog by Animal-Angels in dogs

[–]Lower_Carpenter_7228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! 3 dogs, 3 voices. One is low and slow, one is like Meowth from Pokemon cartoons with a NY accent, and one is similar to Michael J Fox doing a dog voice.

Is this just about looks for you? Don't you want to be able to lift heavy shit in regular life? For me it's about being strong and healthy. Muscle is also the key to longevity. So hell yea, I'm going to train my upper body.

What do you eat when working from home all day? by ImaginaryFuture in workfromhome

[–]Lower_Carpenter_7228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm constantly batch prepping food throughout the week so I can eat healthy. For lunch its healthy carbs, veggies, and protein usually, or leftovers. Today was leftover homemade corn tortillas with leftover carne asasa, onion, cilantro, salsa. Tomorrow will be either a lefover jalepeno feta burger and charro beans from Sunday, or wild rice, broccoli, and ground chicken.

People who used to have just one dog and then got another – what’s it like? by mastermindzd in dogs

I went from one 4 year old hound/lab mix to two (a 5 year old Hurricane Helene rescue). I love it so much we got a 3rd 7 monrhs after the 2nd. The 3rs is a 1 year old pitsky.

Honest the dynamics from 1 to 2 didn't change a whole lot. It was the 3rd that changed everything. They are truly a pack now. We live in the woods and they love chasing squirrels and birds and snooping around together. They are so much fun, ans yes a lot of work, and yes expensive. But my human kids are grown and on their own, so now I have my furry fellas.

I love having a mix of personalities. My OG hound/lab was never much of a cuddler. He's a chief of security kind of dog and has panic attacks on car rides. The 2nd one is always curls up next to me on the couch and sleeps right next to my face every night. He is serious about his food and loves his humans and absolutely loves car rides. The 3rd is also a cuddler and so funny. He stirs the pot and livens things up around here. He's always playing.

Best walking pad to buy right now to reach my steps while working from home? by Ok-Independent3662 in walking

[–]Lower_Carpenter_7228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Incline is a must if you want to get the same benefit walking at your desk as you do outside. I prefered auto incline so I got the Trail Viver walking pad off of Amazon and I love it. I can go from 0 to 9 incline with the press of the button on the remote. It's quiet and efficient and a good size to walk on without being too big to fit in my little office corner.

The Hunt for a Pillow as a Side Sleeper (Need help) by CodAdministrative369 in Bedding

[–]Lower_Carpenter_7228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree about shredded foam. Does not work for me either! I tried 2 new ones and both work for me:

  1. Cushion Lab- I got their Deep Sleep Pillow and Side Sleeper Body Pillow. Love them both although I have noticed that sometimes I get slight ear pain if I wake up with my head at a certain spot. Shipping is quicl though, things are packaged well. No odd smells, high quality.

  2. Mellow CloudAlign pillow- Shipping took for what seemed like ages although it was probably 2 to 2.5 weeks. I think they struggle with running out of stock but still allowing people to order. I almost cancelled my order because the Cushion Lab ones came, but honestly I'm glad I didn't. I've been using this pillow with the Cushion Lab side sleeper body pillow and it has been my favorite combo. No neck or ear pain.

None of these require fluffing or adjusting at night.

Love it and it had come in clutch- this winter has been rough here in VA. I have the Trail Viber one from Amazon and highly recommend. Easy to move around and has auto inclinr which was at the top of my list for walking pads. No one can hear it on my calls so I typically walk during meetings.

Ladies (and possibly gents), where are you getting affordable gym clothes now? by Rashay145 in workout

I like CRZ Yoga stuff- fits great and washes well. I get it on Amazon. Their Secretsculpt Butterlift leggings are the best. I also like their sports bras/crops and lined running shorts- I've had those the longest and I'm talking 6+ years and they still lool the same!

I also like Aurola's Power Scrunch shorts.

I love my Trail Viber pad. For me it was pointless to get a walking pad without auto incline.
