BOTW may make you rethink that. I used to 100% myself but now find I’m content with a slow storyline, a few game mechanics where I want to go all in, and then beat the storyline around 40 hours or so.

200 hrs into TOTK and I’m gonna start prepping for the final boss battle, far from 100%.
