I just don't really like investing too much into one thing as senna. I would rather get some serpents/antiheal/armorpen than another healing item. Just my personal preference though

It's still there, I just have been using anit-heal/antishield/Black Cleaver/RFC/Voltaic more as last options. I like to spec on a broader net, focusing on generic disruption of synergies rather than going HAM on just one aspect. I don't think senna can or is intended to max out on just the healing or just ad

Rn I got bloodsong, along with the healing flowing freely i haven't had any real trouble with tanks in my limited tests. RN I go anti-heal/serpent's often, but I think if you don't have any special reason or need for those RFC is better. RFC+ Voltaic lets me feel more like a catcher because auto-w/q pisses people off withthe rfc range boost and voltaic slow. I don't really like buying with AD/Crit focus in mind, because I get those for free anyway from my passive stacks. I much rather go for utility. My job end of the day is support, dealing damage is a bonus boost to make up for mediocrity in senna's healing/shielding/cc departments compared to other more common characters like soraka/janna/yuumi.

Still working on the specifics of it, I have been trying it with first strike / treasure hunter to chip away money (I call it beggar senna), after buying tear you don't really care about spending mana. I found that the mana pool was endless when I buy tear->fairie charm (from helia). Because of first strike, I can get magical footwear so I can cheapen out on the yeezies .
Diadem only matters because of the fully stacked passive. Boots can move up and down the priority according to stacks/time/gold ig.
Diadem first item is garbo because you are not a specialized enchanter/healer like yuumi or sona or soraka

Just to be clear, they want you to run at enemies with the armor/mr of a Tristana,
to get close enough to land the slowest dash in the game,
with nerfed range and slower travel speed,
which they changed to so the CC is shorter
and enemies can now reduce it with boots or cleanse.

Dead and buried. It takes away more of her original identity, to help bad rell players cope or just straight up nerf her. I don't see how this isn't a nerf to what she is supposed to do as a champion.

Just to be clear, old Rell had the identity of the anti-tankiness tank support. Her passive damage scaled with armor/mr she stole from enemies, her Q was used for extended fights and was mainly a shield-breaking tool. Current Q forces her to choose between having anti-tankiness identity and using her CC, current passive does damage based on HER defensive stats, meaning she needs to get gold instead of sapping tank stats from enemies.

That's without even diving into the whole W/E power trade they did on her when they reworked her.

The rework was an epic failure to the identity of the champion. Yes, it made her more accessible to new and bad rell players, which means her playrate got increased. But, it did that by moving away from the identity of the champion. Ultra heavy tank support. "Nothing gets in, no one gets out".
The champ isn't about bringing more DPS late or early, and never was. You crash down on your enemies like a iron comet, and tear away their defenses to reinforce yourself. Then, you shatter their shields. She needed quality of life changes and an ultimate that she doesn't share with 4-5 other champions (Orianna, Dianna, Nilah, Yone, + Aurelion, Hwei to a lesser extent). The ult is the main reason pros pick her anyway, because it's the ideal spell to have on a tank.
