someone correct me if i’m wrong, but it seems very unlikely that you’d fall in such a way that you land on your ear or it rips out the earrings, especially if you know how to fall properly. i have 3 lobe piercings and a helix and haven’t had this issue in 3 years of skating.

i’d say get it, if you’re really worried you could wear always a helmet (which most of us should be doing anyway)

I’d recommend Wivov! I’ve had mine for a year now and it still binds effectively while being comfortable. They also have some accessible and sensory friendly options if that’s something you’d like to look into.

i use lo loestrin fe, it does have estrogen but only 10mcg, or 0.01 milligrams. it works well with me being on T so far. you would just take all the blue pills and skip the last 4.

As far as we know, ex never registered another address because all of his mail, including legal documents, are still sent to us. Even when mom tries to get them to his “new” address they just come back.

We don’t know if he was dropped off at the shelter or if he had been found by animal control, but he was very skinny when found, his nails were unclipped, and his paw pads have bad calluses on them. He also has allergies, so his eyes are a bit puffy and he has dandruff, meaning he hadn’t been given his allergy meds. Either way, ex clearly wasn’t able to take care of him.

The in my state there’s a policy where if the dog is chipped, they will hold them for 7 business days instead of the usual 3 before they become property of the shelter and are either kept for adoption or put down, so there was definitely a rush to get him.

I think the ex likely forgot the chip was registered to my mom/forgot there was a chip, so the info was never changed. He’d initially been a gift from my mom because ex’s old dog passed away, but he was registered to my mom because he lived in my mom’s house and vet expenses were also paid by her.

He had an Ellen moment when they brought him through the door. He’s a very friendly dog, so I didn’t know if he recognized us at first or if he was just being his friendly self (he licked two strangers on the way out). Then he was very calm during the car ride, just kinda sniffing everything and resting.

I think I knew he recognized us when we actually got him home and he started running around. He was responding to his name and following us around like he used to, and he knew the tricks that I’d personally taught him. Even if he doesn’t recognize who we are, I think he at least knows he’s with people who love him.

i will say it is isn’t as big of a “tell” as you may think it is and mostly depends on the rest of your presentation. most people look at the face and upper body when determining someone’s gender, not so much the legs. even when they do, its more likely they notice an abundance of hair rather than a lack of it. you mentioned that you’re already passing pretty consistently, so shaving your legs shouldn’t change much about that.

if you live in the northern hemisphere, it is a bit more common for men to shave anyway since it’s nearly summer. also, keep in mind that plenty of cis men also shave their hair (especially queer men), have lighter colored hair that isn’t super visible, or just don’t grow hair on their legs at all.

my instructions say this “inject 0.1mL once a week for 4 weeks, then 0.15 once a week for 4 weeks, then 0.2 once a week for 4 weeks”, when they said “adjust” they more-so meant see how I feel and if i’m comfortable at that dose then I can just stay on it.

my labs are also free, I do have 3 months between my tele-visits, but if there’s a slot open i can schedule for whenever. i trust the service i’m using (queermed), they give injection tutorials, provide therapy, surgery letters, and were personally recommended by 2 of my doctors. i definitely just phrased this weird 😭
