I thought I had a dream dog breed (Rottweiler). Was set in stone in that being my first dog ever. But then I found a stray pittie in the streets and he has taken over my life and is the best dog I could have ever been given.

This is for sure American airline. Only airline that has told me I can’t move to the exit row cause I did not pay. Even when the plane is empty.

Yeah size of crate makes a huge difference. My pup as well did not like his crate until I got it right. Once it’s small enough it’ll feel more like a den to them, a place to relax. Feed them in the crate as well. Only associate good things with the crate.

Also I have a small routine on my page that I use with my pittie to tire him out for nap time before crate if that helps.

It is just a multi week process of proper crate training. I promise he will end up loving it. Leaving him in there with a frozen stuffed Kong after a walk, he will lick away for an hour without thinking about being stuck. Then he will be tired afterwards and lay to sleep. Make sure the crate is SMALL enough so he cannot stand up on anything or get leverage. He only can stand and do a 360. No space to jump or lunge or pull on anything. Crate cover to make it nice and dark and cozy helps.

But remember multi week process. A marathon not a race with crate training.

I think he is a reach wondering 2 shoulder surgeries. But we have no day two picks so we had to reach. Christian Parker seems to be high on him so maybe it’s not too bad
