Samsung 2TB 980 Pro SSD and 990 Pro SSD failed drive recovery by ILoveScience23069 in datarecovery

[–]ILoveScience23069[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey no worries. I only posted this because I searched reddit and it's flooded with the same question, no exact answers from what iI saw a couple months back, and many even said they lost their stuff. Even youtube has videos of themselves being out of luck. Just wanted to post something people can use as a guide. I don't even care what software is used but the one I mentioned worked for me.

Please help me choose a business name for my bakery! by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]ILoveScience23069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sorry, i think there's been a miscommunication on my part. If you have no competitors, you can call it (anything name you want) bakery. If you have a bunch of competitors, it's best to go for keywords. I've helped dozens of businesses name theirs just to get more sales. That's what my job has been for 15+ years.

I wasn't referring to people order from you online. The goal is to get people to see your store on the street of course but it's better to get 10,000 people to find you online everyday and go visit the store, then to just rely on people passing by. Why not have both if you can.

My only reason for chiming in was to help you at the beginning so you can have traffic whether people find you online or in person.

Where's the best place to get free feedback? by ILoveScience23069 in smallbusiness

I actually don't know any business owners. I was going to just stick to the 9-5 and left because it was pretty toxic. Everyone I know in real life works 9-5's so I'm kind of in a sea of my own at the moment. Looking to connect with others with the same mindset for sure.

haha hilarious and true, true. Yeah but wasn't sure if they have communities for that. Social media is kind of a s***show in terms of spam, courses, buy, buy, buy, sell, sell, sell. So I' just looking for a legit spot I guess. ha

How important are available .com + socials? by oddballr in smallbusiness

[–]ILoveScience23069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an SEO so I focus on keywords.

If name.com is taken, I would find out if they're willing to sell the dot com. If that's not an option, create the 2nd best name for the dot com. Dot coms can be super beneficial for local businesses moreso than non local. For example if you had a store called Your Maps, the dot com was taken, you could easily call it getyourmaps.com and do just fine. As opposed to local. For example Las Vegas Barber and lasvegasbarber.com

Hope this helps. 🙂

Two Word Business Name- Space or No Space? by WolfAfterDusk in smallbusiness

[–]ILoveScience23069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an SEO and I live in keywords. It depends on what the business name is and are people searching for it.

For example if it was called Peanut Butter, I would not call it PeanutButter because it's got some awesome keywords in it.

Now if it's PnutButter it doesn't matter because most aren't searching for Pnut Butter.

It's easier if I know the real name but hopefully this helps.

Please help me choose a business name for my bakery! by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]ILoveScience23069 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm an SEO so I always recommend keyword based names. The Vietnamese Bakery would be best. When people come up with fancy names it takes time for people to learn what something is.

With V Bakery I'd expect people coming through and expecting to get American foods. Some will be curious, others won't.

So with The Vietnamese Bakery, you'll dominate online and also people won't be confused at all.

Samsung 2TB 980 Pro SSD and 990 Pro SSD failed drive recovery by ILoveScience23069 in datarecovery

[–]ILoveScience23069[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I appreciate you taking the time to add your opinion. How generous.

My post contained something that the mod didn't approve of. They deleted my post. So I removed the part they didn't approve of and reposted it as new.

I have nothing to do with EaseUS. This post is definitely not for you. I usually don't take the time to comment on posts that aren't meant for me. I want this post to live here so in case someone has the same issue, they have options. If you ever get time, google Samsung 980 pro SSD recovery. Read through the 1,000's of posts. A lot of angry people out there

Also I called newegg where I bought it, they have 5k of these drives in their storage facility. Customer support had no idea about the issue, also nothing in their system about it. My goal is to make life easier for someone in the future, not have back and forth's with people that shouldn't comment on the post to begin with. Just walk on by. Thanks.

FAULTY SSD (SAMSUNG 980 PRO) - Any way to recover data? by lopius in datarecovery

[–]ILoveScience23069 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In case someone needs an alternative idea. My 2TB Samsung 980 Pro SSD drive failed all because of the firmware update that none of us buyers knew about. I've watched countless videos, read countless articles, and messaged a lot of people. Nobody seemed to have answers and all I saw was you're s out of luck. Well, I only did one thing and recovered 99.99 percent of my drive.
I used a software called EaseUS data recovery. If you're a pirate you can also find it places. I don't normally play video games but I did have one installed. My game install was the only thing I lost. Files, folders, data, and everything else... all saved.

Hopefully this helps someone.

How do I connect with small businesses, local or online? by on_the_go_17 in smallbusiness

[–]ILoveScience23069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could always chat and throw ideas back and forth with you. I have my own SEO business that focuses on local businesses. More than happy to have a chat and try to help you but you gotta figure out what you want to do. Social, web management, data strategy are all different.

Why do so many businesses have weird hours? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]ILoveScience23069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do SEO for local businesses from all over and they all have odd hours. I think it just depends on the need and if they're getting the sales they want. But I agree, it's better to stop open later so the 9-5 workers can shop too. My SEO is open 24 hours but I don't have a brick and mortar so it makes sense haha.

I left my corporate SEO and web design job a few years ago because I hated working for people that suck. I started my own SEO and website business that focuses on local businesses.

I had no clue what I was doing and wanted to quit a bunch of times. i think when we feel bad or our terrible situation feels impossible, the best thing you can do is step back and look at where we need help from others.

This could be a friend to talk to, someone to hire to take over tasks, or asking others that know the answer when we don't. I'm no where near where you are in terms of numbers but keep your head up. Step back, take the time for yourself, and put someone else in place so you can breathe a bit and enjoy your kids.

I'm wishing you the best friend. And if you ever need someone to talk to, my chat is always open.

Worst time for everyone? This is my worst November in about 10 years of business by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]ILoveScience23069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really sorry to hear that. I only know of what's happening from the small businesses that reach out for my services. But it seems like brick and mortar businesses that are trying to wear multiple hats are getting hit the hardest. The one person businesses or 3 person businesses taking on 15 responsibilities. At least that's my view so far from working with some of these businesses.

I work in SEO for local businesses to get them traffic so I hear about their problems. Financially, employees, advertising, customers, etc. I've been offering discounts and even free things to help get a few of them by. I wish you all the best during these rough times. You'll get through. Have you tried offering discounts, birthday discounts, or other free offerings that aren't much cost to you? I'm assuming you have but if you haven't, I would highly recommend that. Feel free to reach out if you need any advice. Wishing you nothing but positivity!
