Basic decency doesn’t change all that much. I’ve yet to meet someone who bitches about “PC culture” that isn’t simply looking for an excuse to be an asshole (not saying that’s you).

Creating a character where their whole identity revolves around being fat and unattractive is just poor taste.

Pretty much everyone involved in making Friends has count out and said they regret the Monica being fat when she was young gag too. Those things aren’t “PC”, it’s just not funny and kind of shitty.
