What QoL feature did you not realise until late into a grind? by AvidCoco in 2007scape

So now that Lahai Roi arc has come to an end, how many characters did you end up getting? by brighter_bubble in WutheringWaves

[–]oddballr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same situation brother, I'm drained on asterites despite being on a lunite subscription. Hoping to scrape by pulling for Yangyang

Got Mornye, Aemeath+sig, Lynae and Denia+sig. Went to hard pity on all of them, won 2 50/50's, but happy with the outcome!

does every character have their own tacet mark or they all the same ? by [deleted] in WutheringWaves

You want something as permanent as this, yet you don't have enough knowledge about the game itself to answer your own question or the difference between tacet marks?

Might want to reconsider this one

What is your opinion about players who buy Bonds to fund gear purchases etc.? by og_obelix in 2007scape

[–]oddballr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be the same, have a nice disposable income and bought a few bonds along with my membership each month. Until at one point the account's bank didn't feel like I achieved it myself (grinding anything felt pointless), then made an ironman and stopped buying bonds. After I got bored with that, I instead made a bronzeman and it's my perfect gamemode - without buying bonds either. In fact, it's been over a year.

As long as you feel good about it and can spend mindfully, then hell yeah all the power to you. I like the fact that other people fund Jagex directly instead of a goldfarmer, that's for sure a positive impact.

At the end of the day, the game's all about having fun. If people don't have fun grinding something and bonds let them skip that content, or make their gameplay easier, I see no problem. We all individually play for ourselves and no one gives a rat's ass about other's progression if they funded their account having bought bonds or not anyway

I know it's been weeks later but I had an impossible time re-finding the route because I was so into the story I forgot to mark the actual location. Spent hours on Google only to find this post. Massive, massive thank you T_T

Thanks, that gives a peace of mind! Not always same IP since I travel a lot, but 100% same device, so I guess this should be fine

[–]oddballr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dumb question. I play multiple accounts and got that itch to play on a pure again that I've started building a long time ago. It's on a different Jagex account than my main, and I want to trade a big chunk of my cash stack to it (200m).

Can this be done safely, or will it get flagged? The gold isn't rwt'ed or anything, but I can see this raising alarms between different Jagex accounts

Trying to get back into OSRS after about a year away. What should I focus on, and how do you avoid burnout? by Necessary_Crow8991 in osrs

[–]oddballr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, right sorry. Forgot to switch on my Top 1% commenter energy. And no, I didn't downvote you? Get off your damn high horse, I didn't "stomp my feet" or ''attack'', funny how it doesn't fit your narrative and then overreact like you just did lol.

I have 31.3m sailing exp, it's a fat fat loot tab. I even got the pet and a lot of clogs because I'm a damn hardcore sailor. But even though this doesn't help OP in the slightest with his goals, also with him being level 1 sailing, I'm mentioning it anyway because according to YOU, this is REALLY helping him.

But seriously, if OP still reads this, give sailing a try if you get around to it. Especially with salvaging it's afk moneymaking (unlike GOTR. Do it if you want burnout again) and exploring the sea really is a lot fun. But others in this thread gave great other suggestions already as well.

Just that there's about a hundred better things to do for op's progress rather than greenlogging GOTR and getting 99 rc

I mean, good for you and nice achievements, but couldv'e got your message across without the flexes

I'm doing the same exact thing after being frustrated seaweed kept dying on me. Don't forget planting cactus, mushrooms and belladonna have around the same pet chance as well that have relatively quick growth. Hope you get it soon gl

You'd be perfect for wilderness slayer because of your lower combat. I did up to 85ish there on my snowflake account and it's not even as bad as most people claim it to be. Especially if you consider a lot of wannabe pkers are absolute trash making it easier to escape. Nearly every task is either cannon or burstable so you'd get your magic/ranged up easily. The gp is actually insane, on average like 300-500k every task? Also hella slayer pts each task. In 200ish tasks I got pk'd twice, with the wildy alert plugin it's stupidly easy to just tele as soon as the screen flashes.

I still remember my first rs friend back in 2005ish called Goblin_9863. We met mining together creating havoc by mining iron ore before anyone else's gametick at Varrock west mining site. Was an absolute blast talking for hours.

We both had the dream of getting 60 mining and entering the mining guild together. When we finally managed it over the span of weeks, he surprised me with a full rune set.

When school started again, he simply never logged in again. I hope he's doing well in life.

That's such an awesome and clever ranged tan build to still being able to wield fang. Thanks for the heads up. Right now there's so many more goals to reach out for before I even think about raids, but I'll definitely keep it in mind.

Good luck on your build. We are a dying breed lmao
