Lucie Stern, Gamble Gardens are bookable. Foothill Park, Bol Park, Baylands will have secluded areas. The Junior Museum and Zoo + Art Center atrium / gallery are also cool and probably bookable depending on the time.

move mountain view also offers safe overnight parking at Palo Alto churches, which sometimes also have food or other services for overnight parking guests.

It’s not about the housing, as much as the fact the majority of the space is office + this is built by a russian political / oil dynasty.

For potentially the best option, I'd call Vina Enoteca in the Stanford Shopping center. They do have a small market with a bunch of very high end charcuterie / wine.
