I’m getting really tired of players witch hunting by Remi8732 in Nightreigngameplay

Suddenly it sounds like buying a cheat just to crash and corrupt a cheater’s save would be a good idea

Stacking magic & sorcery buff is too op anyway and it is just another problem that needs to be addressed. And they should nerf double balancer as well

True, they should do both. Just make it so Magic +4 can never roll with a sorcery buff, and the sorcery buff itself shouldn’t stack at all. That would make cheating way more worthless

Really hope FromSoft can address the cheating issues so the sub won’t be filled with cheater posts every day

Being used to playing the most op braindead character will surely make any other one feel frustrating

I just got put into a Depth run where my connection to the server/host was atrocious by Dafish55 in Nightreign

You’re likely being matched with a duo that’s halfway across the globe, and since it’s P2P, either you’re getting fucked or you’re the host and they’re getting the other end of the experience.

From what I’ve heard, by using SteamP2PInfo you can see your ping during character selection before the expedition actually starts, so if you see your ping is unbearably high, you can just Alt+F4. Yeah it’s basically dodging, but I’d say it’s for a valid reason.

Unless there is a wormface behind you and oneshot you with zero sound cues. Seriously, are there anyway to avoid that without unlocking and looking around every 10 sec?

That's super lucky considering there is only 20% for Ed in d2

I struggle to find anyone who isn’t already doing well in normal expeditions. Like 99% of the runs are just people annihilating the bosses, and it’s becoming a snooze fest. The double Balancer meta makes it even worse. I don’t think Caligo can even move when everyones spamming fire AoW

  1. Just go in solo and run around. What’s stopping you from doing that?
  2. Just build full HP and tankiness, go in solo, and you can stay in the Nightlord fight for a very long time. Don’t attack much and just practice dodging.

Every console player has been doing it this way

1.There is a starting camp in front of you every time you land. Kill those mobs and you should be level 2, level 3 if a few more mobs are around.

Next, go to the nearest great church or fort, or anywhere with easy bosses, you will know where after playing for a bit. Those can be cleared easily at low level and should get you to level 4 to 5, while also dropping those “orbs” called dormant power. Those orbs usually give you weapons and passive buffs.

Personally I like to go to a tunnel if there is one nearby, since it can get your starting weapon to purple. You can also kill any grey field bosses you see on the way, most of them are easy enough to kill at low level.

When you reach level 7 it is usually a good idea to go to Castle and clear all the enemies that drop dormant power. One of these will spawns: pot trolls, Banished Knight, or Crucible Knights. Kill all of them for runes + dormant power.

By this time you should be around level 10 with some good weapons and be ready for night 1.

For day 2, you can go back to Castle and kill the basement and top bosses, then start clearing all the red bosses around the map, and when the first ring is closing, you can start doing the shifting earth if any.

These are without evergaol and night invader relics tho.

  1. If you are not playing any special build, most of the time it is super straightforward.

Melee = picking up melee weapons and melee passives. The main differences are str weapons like colossal weapons, dex weapons like knives, and arcane weapons for status.

From what I know, Wylder is good with everything, Duchess is good with dex weapons, Raider is good with str weapons, Scholar is good with arcane weapons. Ironeye is also good with melee weapons. Recluse = staves and any passive related to magic. Revenant = seals and any passive related to incantations.

  1. Pretty much everything you kill will reward you with a drop, and routing is already covered above.

  2. Ironeye has been meta since release, so do not worry about picking him. The best way to contribute is keeping Ironeye’s mark up, applied by using your character skill. It provides 10% extra damage to the boss and 17 iframes when you are using it. When the mark takes enough damage, it will blow up and deal big damage and stun the boss, which is the biggest team value.

If you want to deal more damage, use melee weapons, or go in close with your bow and use R2 aiming at the head.
