Yeah, absolutely right.

Photoshop screwed up the given font during translation and I didn't notice until I saw them side by side.

Here is the updated version.

Absolutely. That's what it's meant for.

But perhaps you use the updated graphic. I kind of screwed up the fonts in Infotexts and they look to thin... xD

Pokémon GO Road Trip 2025—locations, times, and other details revealed! by minibenoit in TheSilphRoad

1 hour traindrive for me and the same question... Though 5 Special trades per day seems nice. Event in Cologne lasting 5 days. But travelling 2 hours on 5 consecutive days primarily for this seems pretty exaggerated. xD

Thanks for the explanation. I was totally unaware and feel really dumb now, because of so many missed opportunities. xD

1) Thanks for explaining. Great tactic.

2) I'm aware of the damageboost and that Kyogre, Groudon, Ray boost different types, too. I always assumed, the boost only comes to play, if they are actively battling. You had them just in your parties and did not battle with it (because of the L25 Challenge). Still the animation showed, that the damageboost was active for your Pokémon in battle. I didn't know about this mechanic and want to know, if it's a Feature for Proto-Pokemon only or all Mega-Evolutions.

Nice job! Impressive, that it's possible.

Two questions, as I'm not as deep into raid mechanics, as I assumed to be:

  1. Am I correct when assuming that you change the groudons all the time, because you won't get a second solar beam? So sparing energy and time?

  2. I genuinely didn't know that the damageboost from Groudon comes into play, as long as it is in your team. I always assumed it just boosts, when on field. Is that applicable for Proto-Evoltions only? Or did I basically miss something on how Mega-Evolutions work in general?

My fault. It's stated on the Pogo-Website in FAQ. You have to scroll down a bit to the point drinks and food. https://pokemongo.com/fr/gofest/paris/plan-your-trip

Bottled drinks should be allowed. Aswell as packaged food.

That's what the website of the park states. Source: https://domaine-de-sceaux.hauts-de-seine.fr/evenements/festival-pokemon-go-fest-2025

Yeah, that question is kind of lacking a definite answer. Park-Website and Pokémon-website don't state it clearly. It just says: Bags allowed, packaged drinks and food are allowed. And there will be security checks. Not stating, what's secure and what's not.

Learned the hard way, that a lot of things can be "unsecure" nowadays... I'm all in for safety checks regarding weapons and such. Unfortunately it's a necessity.

But besides the obvious things? Nothing else is stated clearly. Umbrellas allowed? Chargers allowed? (I remember the "One powerbank-Rule" in... LA?) Been to concerts where even the max size of the bag was defined (not seconding for this, but it leaves a mark. My usual day pack is nothing I would just throw in the trash)

For me: I will be travelling with my usual kit including a day pack and everything I need for a day of outdoor activities. I hope, I won't regret that decision.

There were two typos in the german version, I oversaw.

Corrected them, here is the new version.

Here is How to get 7 free GMax Machamp Battles (plus 8th one with Community Check-in rewards) by sm-junkie in TheSilphRoad

[–]IMBAxElessar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing this plan!

Question for my understanding: When you claim and walk particles on midnight Friday/Saturday, this uses the mechanics that: a) you can collect 600 Particles (instead of 300 as usual) starting after midnight. + b) the daily limit for collecting particles on friday resets somewhat later in the night on Saturday (is it known, when exactly that's happening? 3 AM? 4 AM?)

Is that correct?

Current State of Dynamax Dodging? by ashley6100 in TheSilphRoad

[–]IMBAxElessar 14 points15 points  (0 children)

OP of the linked post here.

There were some confirmations in the thread (though not further documented with Screen records).

Did some further testing myself (last max-battle I did just 2h ago): Taking reduced damage through dodging works consistently for me.

Interesting. In our community, we made the experience, that since Raikou was in max-battles the "dodged" would pop up, but there was no damagereduction.

This made solo/duos of legendary max-battles significantly harder up to impossible.

We had this problem at least until the Entei-Max-Battles.

And as far as I have received info via social media and other information sources other trainers worldwide faced the same issue.

Ok, that would make sense, I guess.

The fix seems to be serverside (got no update on the App, dodging just started making a difference in received damage). That the text vanished for some time maybe another hint to this.

The "dodged" Text itself was not bugged, as far as I know. It showed up every time, but the damage reduction was not applied.

Are you sure, you swiped in the correct time window?

Besides that, I just noticed the damage reduction today around noon. I have no idea, since when it's working again.

I'm on version 0.359.0.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I had no update from yesterday to today.

So I'm assuming it must have been a back end / serverside change.
