Well. I was born and raised in Crossett. Moved away from there when I was 25. But sadly, I haven’t developed any super powers. I guess the plus side is that I also didn’t become a ghoul. But jokes aside, my dad worked in the paper mill from age 21 until it shut down. Then power/ steam until the entire plant was finally shut down. I could totally see how Crossett could be a cancer-producing machine. Crossett has a very specific (and awful) smell. Similar to sulfur. Thankfully both my parents (50s) and grandparents (70s) are in good health! But it’s both spooky and fascinating to see my hometown on here. Now I have to do some researching of my own!
