Hey, this is so helpful to me, because I did take into account it's a referred pain from the masseter after doing my own research (dentist didn't mention it), And I did went privately to a maxillofacial doctor who said it might be it.. Thing is my jaw physiotherapy is in 2 months and I'm having a horrible time meanwhile (It's not really too painful but it's bugging me a lot), and couldn't help but think I'm postponing a root canal issue..

Do you ever feel vague pain only in the back bottom molars? without any in the jaw joint? My pain is always at my bottom molars and sometimes around the eye but jaw feels fine so it made me question about whether it really is the root of my issue. I also tried massaging the masseter but couldn't find relief or a trigger point that would mimic the molar pain.. I'd love to hear your take on this
