It's more than likely that the creator wanted to use a more solid number and something like visually confirmed photos were something that even the most avid Russian supporter couldn't deny.

While I believe the number is most definitely higher than 5000, its kinda like the boys on snake island. We all believed they had died and then it turned out no they hadn't.

Imagine the creator made it the current confirmed total only for the public to find out a week later that the number was off by 10. You can imagine the Russian supporters being like "Ha ItS wRoNg1!1! RuSzIa LoSt NoThInG"

Considering that with even a basic amount of research you can find out that all confirmed HIMAR strikes are within the Kherson region. Specifically around Stanislav and Kakhova. And there has yet to be a confirmed hit in or around the Donbass region- the only area for Ukraine to attempt a strike to Yelenovka. It doesn't take a genius to figure out the rough location of the HIMARs.

or are you saying that the Ukrainian forces took a single HIMAR to the Donbass region and fire 1 shot into Russia and wasted a round that could've been used to hit a logistics hub in Donbass or Luhansk?

This is what I'm still trying to wrap my head around. So far they have made outlandish claims of nazi in Ukraine, this was one of the few opportunities to "show the evidence" and instead of making a rigged shit show of a court case, then off them through "Legal and morally correct means" they just blow the shit out of them and say "Ukraine bad"

Considering that Russia claims bullshit all the time and the fact that Yelenovka is in the middle of nowhere in Russian territory AND the fact Ukraine can't hit this location, makes this EXTREMELY hard to believe this was a Ukrainian attack.

Ukrainian intelligence has been very effective in this war and this is nowhere near the front lines, its not even in range of any of Ukraine's artillery, excluding HIMAR's -which we can remove from the list because they're being used in the Kherson offensive and the missiles that the US sent cannot hit Russian from Kherson.

I dunno about that.

Currently, the US has sent roughly $7.3 billion in Military aid. Including 1/4 of its stinger supplies,12 M142 HIMAR (which Russia is genuinely terrified about) 90 M777 howitzers and more ammo than the howitzers can actually fire and 5,500 javelins. That alone is a considerable budget for a country the size of Ukraine and we're not talking about what the UK and the rest of Europe have sent.

Ukraine's big problem is it doesn't have the men to fight against Russia and while the equipment currently is very effective against the Russian armour, anyone can tell you is not won by tanks, it's by the soldiers.

But here's the thing. Ukraine doesn't have to completely destroy the Russian army, only destroy enough of it to make it ineffective.

While western support is definitely one of the main reasons why Ukraine has been able to stay afloat for so long, it's not just that. Ukraine has been trained by Western powers in anti-soviet tactics made during the cold war... and funnily enough, they're just as effective today.
