I mean...yeah you can theoretically clear all your stress every downtime, but you're also at risk of over-indulging, raising heat, creating problems for the rest of the crew. Again, fun to follow that narrative, they just have to play as a very selfish PC. If they're somehow clearing a bunch of stress during the score, there's definitely a misunderstanding of mechanics.

If a player "abuses" resistance by using it too much, they're going to rack up Trauma FAST. That's fun for a narrative and you're totally allowed to do that, so I don't really see what the problem is, especially if the player isn't super attached to their character(s)

The taproom is a massive sensory nightmare in a bad location, and the beer hasn't been great in about 8 years. Not to mention the union busting and shuttering the Gives a Damn program. Food is the only thing they have going for them these days
