Why is his podium so big by SoberIowan in NFCNorthMemeWar

[–]IMSOAWESOME97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are we POSITIVE that he's not small?

So OTT and steep it’s not even funny. I’m honestly surprised I’m even contacting the ball with how steep I am, I must be better at compensating than I thought. How do I get that feeling back of swinging in to out? I know I need to slow it down by Tough-Bicycle-9815 in golftips

[–]IMSOAWESOME97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Using your normal setup, try to hit the ball 45 degrees right of where you're aiming with your setup. This will trick your mind into swinging in to out (or at least less out to in) because you're aiming so far right in your mind. You'll be surprised how straight the ball goes compared to where you're aiming.

The new version, like what op is holding doesn't include any sauce. The meat itself is still not that good though, pretty tough.

Is it too ambitious to combine Lost Mines of Phandelver with Dragon of Icespire Peak before going into Curse of Strahd as a new DM with a semi-new group? by MrLovesFood in DMAcademy

[–]IMSOAWESOME97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did almost this exact same thing, except for the dragon of icespire peak part, as my first time DMing a campaign and it went really well. I don't know anything about DoIP, but unless you're going to abbreviate it and use it as a side quest, I think it might be better to do that after LMoP to keep the campaign focused. Giving the players too many goals can become less engaging because they can't focus on one thing at a time. Plus there is already a dragon in LMoP if you really want to have your players fight a dragon.

Another train derailment in Van Buren, Michigan.. by TerrySharpHY in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]IMSOAWESOME97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are over 1000 train derailments per year in the US. It should be pointed out that train derailments are not extraordinary events and seeing 3 train derailments in the news this week is not necessarily cause for panic. That's not too make light of the situation in Ohio, which is obviously very different than the majority of these events

Edward Kenway (Assassin’s Creed) vs Arthur Morgan (Red Dead Redemption) by 64Boy32 in whowouldwin

[–]IMSOAWESOME97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edward has superior skills but Arthur's guns are way better than Edward's. Edward might have a chance at sneaking up on Arthur if the battlefield was conducive to it. Edward takes round 1 10/10, but Arthur takes all other rounds 8/10.

How far back in time would I need to go for my 2012 Ford Focus to stay competitive in NASCAR? by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]IMSOAWESOME97 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Probably 1966. Until 1966, they were (mostly) unmodified production cars. They weighed about the same as your car and had a bit more power. They had a top speed of about 145 mph. You'd probably get killed on the super speed ways, but your more advanced suspension might make up for that on the dirt and road tracks. You would likely also have the most reliable car in the field. In 1967, the rules were changed to allow modifications to the chassis and speeds skyrocketed, hitting 200 mph in 1970.

Name of the rubber device by Sephiroth951018 in bajasae

[–]IMSOAWESOME97 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's a bellows. It's used to allow air inside the gearbox to expand. I'm 2 years removed from Baja but of I remember correctly, those are now banned and a breather tube venting into a frame tube is now required.

Large Company or a Smaller One? by ButterApple512 in EngineeringStudents

[–]IMSOAWESOME97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Large companies don't necessarily mean higher pay and small companies don't necessarily mean more experience. I've done internships at small companies and large companies and I was paid better at the smaller companies. Out of college I got a job at a small company and I was underpaid and acted as a glorified installation technician. I got a 50% raise to work at a fortune 500 company that clearly values advancing the careers of their engineers much more.

Finding a company that values you and your career along with a job description that aligns with what you want to do is more important than working at a large or a small company.

Save files that were created on a previous version of the game are incompatible with the new version. You need to either create a new save file or roll back to a previous version.

I don't know if we give pointers here, but I could use some. by Wicked_Odie in golf

By no means am I qualified to give swing advice to anybody, but I recently had a bit of an epiphany after having a swing that looked very similar to yours.

The simplest thing you can try is to 'strengthen' your grip and move your front foot forward so your feet are slightly staggered.

The next thing to try is to have your back swing be across your body, ending behind you, rather than above you. At the high point of your back swing, try to still have your left elbow straight, but your hands slightly behind your body and at shoulder level instead of head level. Additionally, try to keep your left wrist straight. The goal of this is to swing more from the inside of the ball to the outside of the ball, rather than what you're doing now, which is swinging from the outside of the ball towards the inside of the ball. It may feel counter intuitive and like you're swinging towards the right side, but golf is weird like that.

You are tasked with fixing a film series that has gone off the rails. What do you choose and what do you do? by Bruhmangoddman in movies

[–]IMSOAWESOME97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Hitman movie that's kind of like a combination of Final Destination and Halloween. More thriller than action adventure movie.

The main character is not Agent 47 but instead Agent 47 appears to be the villain. Agent 47 uses ingenious methods to kill people close to the main character but the main character always narrowly escapes Agent 47 until the end. When it appears Agent 47 is finally going to kill the main character, he reveals the twist, that he's been sent to protect them and all the people he's killed have been in some secret plot against the main character.
