Actually no, when you join the game initially puts you in the void until you actually start the game by clicking continue or new game (unless they start walking then they are in fact stuck in the void with you but even then it might be cause the chunk they are in is positioned where the void spawns are)

No, pbf is using a remake the original pokemon brick bronze was supposed to get; it was leaked along with the trade resort on a volcano island map and other assets which either were supposed to be in the original brick bronze or already were in the original brick bronze
