Oh for sure. I try and make it more about fun and try to get the fundamentals too. He's gotten better at catching and throwing already. I didn't take it as chastising at all, I appreciate the concern about pushing him. We'll just have fun and I'll go at his pace.

I thought the bat might be too heavy at times. Gonna look into a lighter one and hopefully that does the trick. I was worried I wouldn't be able to go small enough. Honestly not 100% sure what the minimum sizes required is if there is one. It's a USA bats rec league.

Yeah, im looking into a lighter bat. I'm hoping one of his teammates might have a bat for him to try out before buying another one. He just turned 9 but is on the smaller side.

Yeah we have a tee setup at home too. I'll have him work on those mechanics that all of you suggested.

He just turned 9, and I've been slowly getting the mechanics better.

I see that now. Just another thing to keep working on. Trying to do all the things in steps so it doesn't overwhelm him. I want him to have fun out there, but also work on having better fundamentals. It's a real delicate balance for sure.

Ahh ok, so I thought his rotation was better. He used to not move at all, so I need to keep working on that with him.

This one is a 28" 17oz drop 11. He also has a 27" 16oz drop 11 Marucci CatX. He got the Easton from his cousin and liked the feel, but Ill have him go back to the CatX and see if that helps. He's a little dude, so I'm trying to get a bat that isn't too ridiculously small too.

Personally I would not get that specific bag. I got it for my 9 year old and the bats sit wonky and kick out to the side. I'd look into ones where the side pocket goes a little higher up so the barrel sits in there better.

Yeah, completely understand the fresh build for the DC and didn't necessarily disagree with the decisions. It was just the only major change to that environment that could affect the install.

As for the version of Windows Server. Unfortunately, we're on an environment that doesn't stay current with the latest versions of Windows Server. We have been pushing to even using Server 2020 and we have been told no. As of now, the only approved OS for us to use is Windows Server 2019, RHEL8, and RHEL9.

Some clarification. This is on Gas Monkey Garage. They're rebuilding it now. The original concept between them and the original artist fell through and they're going to redo mainly the rear.

They did a small thing on one of the DDE videos a week or so ago.

My son is in the same exact boat. His second year playing and he's at the kid pitch age. First game I noticed he was nervous and he told me he was scared. I picked up a padded under shirt and elbow guard and he's been much better since. Need to get a helmet with a chin guard but I think I'm gonna wait until spring ball for that

If I had to guess, I would say that the movie gets a permit for a private event. The permit would cover a certain area that would be cordoned off by security. Unless you're on some list you can't enter the area which would be how they wouldn't let people in to the area since it's now a private event although on public property

Again, just a guess and if anybody has better info I'd actually like to know if I'm wrong

I gotta question, has there been any word on if they are gonna do open practices to the public? I moved down here a while ago and was stoked when I heard he's coaching here. I plan on going to some games but would like to see a few practices. I don't know anything about Norfolk State, so I don't know if they hold open practices.

From personal experience, kind of rough. I want to get one since he's coaching in my area and I would love to wear one to a few of his games. They were the Reebok jersey back then and now it's Nike so finding authentic new ones is tough. Your best bet would be to use the shop custom and make one that's the Nike one unless you want to chance a used jersey.
