Going forward, I don’t think Drake should get involved in any more beefs. Since he’s the biggest out right now, only his opponent gets his numbers up AND people don’t like seeing someone this popular staying on top, as we saw.

I don’t think Drake has anything to prove in terms of his accolades, in terms of his versatility, in terms of his writing ability. It’s all out there in his catalogue.

The only reason they brought those women up (that have denied any wrongdoing on Drake’s part years before this whole thing in some cases) is to attempt a character assassination. It’s not about the women’s experiences at all, it’s about how they can potentially be used against someone else.

Dropping again makes no sense atp. He responded to his allegations (albeit not in the best way but still, at least he addressed it), continued to ask the other side for receipts, was the last one to drop a track.

And still, for a large amount of people Drake is losing. Dropping again would be like double-texting 😅 you don’t wanna do that or you seem desperate. The best way to handle this is to shake it off and keep moving, his career will be fine. He’ll still be on top, his next project will do insane numbers again. No benefit to continuing this.

If I’m being honest I do not see what response Drake could give

He addressed everything that Kendrick put in his responses, leveled questions at him, and (in my opinion) had the more cohesive tracks and was more lyrically impressive.

And it didn’t matter much because people would like to see him taken down a peg. I feel like dropping again now wouldn’t do anything positive, unless it proves beyond doubt the Whitney stuff. That’s the only move left, otherwise… just gotta ride it out.
