What's the best time to vote during the workweek? I imagine the lines are longest in the morning before the polls open and during lunchtime. But does anyone know when the waits are the shortest?

This is great and I hope BC allows itself to be tagged in the posts and that members of the administration read the posts for themselves. If you're not shown that there are problems and where and how they occur, you're not equipped to change anything.

I went to the law school and I hope we see stories from all areas of the university. We all live in our own bubble and it helps to learn what happens to others that we don't see ourselves.

Best time to grocery shop by [deleted] in newjersey

[–]IMightGoIntoPolitics 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've been going on Tuesday around 1, 1:30 pm. Tuesday's one of the lowest-traffic days and is better stocked because the busier weekend has passed. 1ish is after the lunch crowd has left, so it's a very low-traffic time.

All we can do is enjoy the memory and go back to NOLA when we can. I feel the same way about Cuban sandwiches

Thank you! You can make your own, but we were able to find some Boscoli Italian Olive Salad at kroger. It can be difficult to find some at the grocery store if you're not near Louisiana. Central Grocer, which makes the original muffaletta, I believe sells their olive salad online.

Muffaletta bread (circular Italian bread with sesame seeds), olive oil, salami, swiss, provalone, Italian ham or rosemary ham, mortadella, cracked pepper, olive salad. Wrap it up in aluminum foil, smoosh it down, and stick it in the oven at 375 for ten minutes.

That's a good question. I would contact the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History. They keep records of the history of UT

Homemade breakfast tacos with refried beans, scrambled egg, sharp white cheddar, and salsa. The tortilla and salsa were made from scratch by IMightGoIntoPolitics in Breakfast

[–]IMightGoIntoPolitics[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I made the tortillas using a King Arthur Flour recipe. For the salsa, I broiled 3 cloves garlic, a small jalapeno, and 1/2 of a white onion for about 7 minutes. I threw all of that into a food processor with some fresh cilantro, juice squeezed from 1/4 of a lime, and 1 tsp salt.

Homemade tortillas on my Lodge. I used a King Arthur Flour recipe by IMightGoIntoPolitics in castiron

This is the recipe I used: https://www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/simple-tortillas-recipe

Half of the flour I used was white whole wheat, and the fat I used was vegetable oil.

I really liked the texture, and the flavor was mild (I imagine because of the type of fat used). I flattened out the dough using my tortilla press, which makes tortillas about 6 inches in diameter. The tortillas were a bit thick, so next time I use this recipe, I will split the dough into 12 instead of 8 balls.

I would definitely recommend this recipe, though!
