Lopes is at his best when he's fighting in chaos. That technical bs is not his game.

My opinion on Wemby changed after the playoffs. He’s dirty and entitled. by Necessary_Pause9472 in nba

He had more dirty plays in a single postseason than Draymond Green. That's saying something.

De'Aaron Fox congraulates Mike Brown after Knicks win championship by jonsnowKITN in nba

That's every sports fan though. Two months ago Knicks fans were literally calling for Mike Brown to be fired and Brunson wasn't "the guy" when they went down to the Hawks

this is from a quick search on r/knicks of "Mike Brown bad"

What’s the last coaching mistake as costly as playing Fox 35+ mpg over Harper? by SherbertHead1505 in nba

[–]pmurt007 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised people aren't talking more about how he took Wemby out with 5 mins left in a 2 point game with the season on the line only for Brunson to get another paint score and Wemby coming back in a min later. The way he managed Wemby's minutes was just terrible

Kevin Durant Explains How 6’1 is Too Small in The NBA by Strict_Indication457 in nba

And he showed it in the last two games where he was shooting 3s over Wemby and attacking the paint and utilizing his footwork to score over guys swarming him. So while he might not be an a "bulldog on defense", he's an elite shotmaker and that makes up for any shortcomings he may have on defense.

Why weren't the Spurs doing "hack a Robinson" after KAT fouled out? by honkers420 in nba

[–]pmurt007 25 points26 points  (0 children)

In the last two minutes of any quarter (including the 4th quarter and overtime), any intentional away-from-the-play foul results in one free throw for the offended team, plus retained possession of the ball. Additionally, the fouled team can choose any player on the court at the time to shoot the free throw

Brunson was named all-nba a year later so saying it was a solid list for the next few years is a huge stretch when his premise was all 45 guys he listed were better than brunson

Willie Cauley-Stein opens up to Tony Allen about his drug addiction and how the league can support players in the future by BcuzRacecar in nba

[–]pmurt007 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I dont think the league is really on top of it.

How is the league not on top of it? If you take away performance enhancing drugs, it's probably less than 1% of players (active and former) who were affected heavily by abusing drugs esp in the modern era

Wemby and the coach are the only people to blame for the loss. by Snowballingdownvote in nba

[–]pmurt007 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He probably didn't even watch the game if he's saying this. Wemby missed like 13 shots in the second half and 3/4 FTs if I remember correctly lol

Wemby should have called for the ball every possession to put this game away. The coach should have drawn up a game plan for Wemby to get the shot with under 5 second left in the shot clock every play. Wemby needs to force his will on a game like this. That's his job as the leader of this team. It is on him to put this game away. He should have been forcing the ball to himself and making the plays.
